Boston (eCanadaNow) - According to reports, Myanmar has stated that more than 10,000 people have been killed in the cyclone which destroyed the nation.
The cyclone over the weekend blasted the Southeast Asian country once known as Burma.
It is one of the world's poorest nations and it showed as many are still missing, beyond the 10,000 reported dead.
Governments around the world have already stated that they are going to try and help the country out as much as they can.
U.S. First Lady Laura Bush has stated that the U.S. will be helping out the cause.
The storm packed 120mph winds and ripped through entire villages, leaving many homeless.
Entire communities have been flooded, with electricity, and other basic needs being dismantled.
The U.S., Germany, and other countries are urging not to delay to accept global help to deal with this awful disaster.
