Tokyo (eCanadaNow) - Police in Tsuchiura, Japan have managed to arrest a man on Sunday.  The man is believed to stab eight people at a shopping mall in the country.  He killed one person in the stabbing spree.

The man, 24-year-old Masahiro Kanagawa, has been charged with attacking people at an Ibaraki Prefecture shopping mall on Sunday in Japan.

Police have charged the man with the use of a knife.

One person, a 27-year-old, died following the attack.

One police officer was also woundedin the attacks.

The 24-year-old man was wanted by police for the death of a 72-year-old man last Wednesday, so this only adds to his charges.
