North Korea Helped Along Syria's Nuclear Program

The Bush administration is set to tell Congress that North Korea has helped Syria build up their nuclear programBoston (eCanadaNow) - The Bush administration is set to tell Congress that North Korea has helped Syria build up their nuclear program.

The Bush administration has information which states that North Korea helped Syria build up a plutonium-based nuclear reactor.  This was prior to the event where Israel bombed the location back in September 2007.

The U.S. and Israel have yet to reveal any public information in regards to the attack in Syria.

The reports state though that the target of the attacks was a nuclear reactor.

The Central Intelligence Agency will begin briefing members of the Senate and House intelligence committees on the Israeli strike this week.

The CIA is likely to state that North Korea was helping Syria develop a nuclear raector similar to the Yongbyon facility North Korea built.

There is no word as of yet what evidence will be shown to support this.
