Boston (eCanadaNow) - A suicide training facility was hit by air force jets in Sri Lanka, leaving four people dead.
The training base was for Tamil Tiger rebels.
A Sri Lankan Air Force spokesman stated that the suicide training facility was in a territory in the jungle which was held by rebels.
Sri Lankan officials stated that at least four were killed and 13 others wounded when a suicide bomber blew himself up while riding a bicycle.
Tamil Tiger rebels were blamed for the attack.
Since the rebels began their fighting in 1983, over 70,000 people have been killed and the violence continues.
The Tamil Tigers control a great deal of the northern land of Sri Lanka.
