Washington (eCanadaNow) - The Pentagon has confirmed that the U.S. military sent four nuclear missile fuses to Taiwan in 2006 by accident.
The fuses were never meant to go to Taiwan as the military was supposedto send out helicopter batteries.
The fuses were sent in their place.
Taiwan returned the parts to U.S. custody last week.
The Pentagon admitted that they never even caught the error.
Officials cleared the air though stating that no nuclear material was ever actually shipped to Taiwan.
