According to an article just published on the New York Daily News website, Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, has reportedly just gotten engaged to boyfriend Nico Jackson. Sources are reporting that they are getting set to be married sometime early in 2014.
A source close to the pair revealed to the international media that Jackson had apparently proposed to Middleton sometime earlier this month, during the course of a long vacation in the Oberoi Amarvilas region of India.
According to this anonymous source, the question popped by Jackson was received exactly in the fashion that he had planned, and was immediately accepted by Middleton. The two have been dating for the past 18 months.
“It was exactly how he planned it,” one source tells Us of the proposal. “Very romantic and grand!”
No concrete information regarding wedding plans has yet been officially announced, nor have any additional tidbits been leaked to the international media. By all accounts, the wedding will be a posh, gala affair, carefully orchestrated, and meticulously planned.
A source says they plan to spend Boxing Day (Dec. 26) at her family’s Bucklebury estate before heading to the Alps for vacation in the new year.
While older sister Kate remains the more prominent celebrity in British Royal culture, the younger Pippa has recently received her fair share of headlines. It is speculated that the announcement of her upcoming wedding will do much to put her name in the spotlight over the coming year.
