For decades, there has been no better way for a female actress or singer to accelerate their fame by posing in Playboy. This is excluding sex tapes, of course. Not only does Playboy attract headlines, but it sometimes creates controversy. In the case of Kelly Bensimon, the only potential controversy is her age. While she is toned and in good shape, she has mothered two kids and it shows a little in the midsection. She might be an ex-model, but it’s debatable whether she’s Playboy material. Not that it matters, considering all the media attention this event has created. People are going to buy the magazine, which is goof for Playboy and Kelly Bensimon.

Kelly, who is known best for her role on the Real Housewives of New York City, is going to have the cover on the magazine, as well as six pages dedicated solely to her. So, whatever you want to know about Kelly – physically or personality-wise – it will be available in the March 2010 Playboy edition.

This is not the first time a ‘real housewife’ has appeared in Playboy. Jeana Keough, who can be seen in the Real Housewives of Orange County, was the Playmate of the Month in November of 1980.
