Airtime, Facebook creator’s new web-based video chat App is hyped to integrate the best applications of various existing internet video programs that already exist. Airtime launched Wednesday, but it was reported that it launched with a few glitches still embedded.
For people who love to talk video screen to video screen and enjoy meeting new people, Airtime was created for you. Airtime allows random video chatting among its users, but unlike Chatroulette that came to an unfortunate demise from all the unfortunate indecent exposure, using Facebook as Airtime’s platform has Facebook creator hopeful people will be more inclined to keep the chatting decent. Facebook’s Airtime will also take random screen shots to scan for possible infringements on the Policies Facebook have set up.
Airtime also gives the user the ability to share Youtube videos, but unlike Google’s web video program, it is not a group program.
