Sammy Sosa, a former baseball player for the Chicago Clubs, walked the red carpet at the Latin Grammy Awards on November 5th. His appearance shocked many of the attendees.
Photos of him quickly made their way on to the internet and on to the news and everyone was talking about Sammy Sosa’s skin.
The tone of Sosa’s skin is significantly lighter than it was before.
Many people speculated that it was either because of steroid use, because he had a skin disease, or because he was trying to look like Michael Jackson. However, Sosa stated that he did not have a skin disease, and that he is using bleaching cream to whiten his skin. His friends have defended him saying that he is not bleaching his skin because he wants to look like Michael Jackson.
Sosa stated that he is using bleach as a moisturizer, and because he is not getting as much sun as he used to.
