In a speech to fans of the Seattle Seahawks, Pete Carroll said he was “so fired up” to be returning to the National Football League as a head coach.
Carroll had spent the last nine years as the coach of the football team at the University of Southern California. Prior to his time with USC, he had been the coach of the New York Jets and New England Patriots, but was released from both of those jobs after his teams turned in poor performances.
Carroll indicated in the speech that one of the reasons he was excited about the opportunity with the Seahawks was that the organization typically allows its coaches to run the team in a manner the coach feels will be successful, rather than trying to run the team the way its owners feel that it should be run. Under the terms of the contract, Pete Carroll will serve as the head coach of the Seahawks for the next five years, and will also serve as the Executive Vice President of the team.
Pete Carroll is just more of the same for the seattle sea losers. seattle will never win they lack heart.The hawks and mariners should be disbanded and started over.

You know with one of the wealthiest owners in the NFL and no salary cap next season,and now a Coach with a record like Carroll’s, I think that “Ernie” will be singing a differnt tune…. come next September. Seattle has heart, believe me they got heart. Since 2007 they have struggled due to many injuries but not from lack of heart. Watch what happens when Hasselbeck has the protection with Walter Jones, and Housh out there, the only thing they’re missing now is Alexander. What a Powerhouse line that was, that’s what Seattle is lacking. My Seahawks are due and everyone oughta be prepared.
