LeeAnne Novaceck died of an apparent self-inflicted gun wound according to Dallas police. The Novaceck family is of course saddened by this event. LeeAnne was very popular in the Dallas community and worked with several Dallas Cowboys charities while her husband Jay played for the team. The entire investigation surrounding LeeAnne’s death has not been completed, but the family certainly has a lot of unanswered questions as to why she would ever dream of turning a gun on herself. It is a very sad situation.

Jay Novaceck spent a number of years with the Dallas Cowboys before retiring due to a chronic back injury. He is a beloved member of the Dallas Cowboys family and people in the area still recognize and adore him. Jay Novaceck still comes around during Cowboys training camp to sign autographs for fans. This tragedy may cause him to stay out of the spotlight for quite some time. Jay and LeeAnne also have a daughter together.

Before winning three Super Bowls with the Dallas Cowboys, Jay Novaceck was a player with the University of Wyoming Cowboys. Jay was so good during college that he went on to be elected to the College football Hall of Fame.
