Ben Roethlisberger, who is best known for leading the Pittsburgh Steelers to two Super Bowl championships, has found himself in some legal trouble. According to a 20-year old woman, the Pro Bowl Quarterback assaulted her at a Georgia nightclub on early Friday morning.
According to Roethlisberger’s attorney, Roethlisberger is completely innocent and no assault occurred. His attorney, Ed Garland, also stated that all evidence proves that he is innocent and that no crime had occurred. Despite Garland’s claim of innocence, it appears that an investigation will soon begin. Midgeville, Georgia police plan on interviewing the Steelers’ quarterback at some point this week. The police department also plans on taking a DNA sample from Roethlisberger.
The name of the woman who is accusing Roethlisberger has not been released. The woman has been rumored to have already left school on a temporary basis. On Monday, the CEO of Pittsburgh based PLB Sports said that the rumors over the assault are very concerning. The CEO further stated that Roethlisberger and all athletes need to take more precautions when they go out.
Other companies that sponsor Roethlisberger, including Nike and Dick’s Sporting Goods, did not make any public announcement concerning this past Friday’s incident.
I hope he didn’t do this but why be so stupid to risk all that money and the Steelers rep for a quicky in a bar…come on Ben!

I’m sure he didn’t do it. These stupid women see someone famous and say whatever they can to try to get money/fame out of the ordeal. This one is even dumber than the first, seeing how the first tried to let him “pay her off” and he told her to pound sand. If he had something to hide, he wouldn’t have done that. And he sure as hell isn’t stupid enough to do it again after the first accusation!
How can you be sure he didn’t do it? It’s not your butthole severed from a 6′,6″ beast of a man. I don’t know if he did or he didn’t because there hasn’t been any facts presented. So imagine how much of a cu*nt you’ll look like if it turns out to be true. I’d expect some steelers homer to say things like “I’m sure he didn’t do it” but not a chick. Just because you’d let Big Ben destroy your anus doesn’t mean all women do. Why would a woman put herself through what a woman has to go through to prove sexual assault? She will be humiliated and they will try to make her out as a whore, sign me up.
