Lolo Jones has a special gift for the right man
In an interview on HBO’s Real Sports, Lolo Jones revealed that at 29-year-old, she is still a virgin.
“It’s just something, a gift that I want to give to my husband,” Jones told HBO’s Real Sports. “But please, understand, this journey has been hard.”
“If there’s virgins out there, I’m going to let them know, it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life – harder than training for the Olympics, harder than graduating from college, has been to stay a virgin before marriage.”
Some see Lolo Jones’ decision to refrain from premarital sex as a negative, but in the Christian community this attribute is not only a positive for the Olympic-level athlete but a mark of distinction.
In this modern day not many can make the claim to still posses the most precious of gifts but for some lucky man Lolo Jones is still holding on to it.
On HBO’s Real Sports recently Jones said she believes her chastity is a big turn off. She said, “You get judged a lot, a lot of guys won’t return your calls once they find out.” Jones is living out her beliefs on the public stage where so many other role models are held up for doing the opposite.
Her Tweet from April 23 read in part, “I don’t have a hard time finding dates but hard finding the right one to date.”
