Shaun White Arrested

Olympic Gold Medalist and X-Games champion Shaun White, known in sports by his nickname “The Flying Tomato” for his red hair, allegedly pulled a fire alarm and broke a phone at a Nashville hotel where he was staying, reports CNN.

The incident led to White being arrested by police.

Police stated White smelled of alcohol when they arrived on the scene.

A guest at the hotel followed White outside and contacted police. When the guest informed White of the police being called, White attempted to attack the guest. It was during this attempt that White fell, injuring his head.

White was taken to a hospital to examine his head wound. Upon his hospital release, White was booked for public drunkenness and vandalism by Nashville police.

White was released on his own accord Monday night. His representatives have not commented further about the events which transpired in the hotel or with the guest.
