Rush Limbaugh said he would like the thank President Obama for single-handedly taking down Osama Bin Laden. It was clear by Rush Limbaugh’s tone that he was being sarcastic in his praise of President Obama.

Rush Limbaugh said the the three most used words in the President’s announcement the night before we I, me and my. Rush seemed to want to downplay the Presidents involvement in any decision making that led to the death of Osama Bin Laden.

In 2008, during the Presidential campagin, Barak Obama’s citizenry was questioned by the general public, as well as prominent Republicans in the media. After nearly three years of keeping his Birth Certificate out of the public eye, the White House has released it. Today Obama quickly addressed a press conference on the issue, stating, “…I have better things to do.”

Whether or not the issue is as “goofy” as the LA Times says it is, the so-called “Birthers” seem to be satisfied – for the moment. The issue was a constant underlying factor within the President’s first term of office, but was brought to national attention when reality star – and possible Presidential hopeful for 2012 – demanded that Obama release his Birth Certificate.

While most seem to be satisfied with the initial certificate of live birth, others wonder why it took Obama so many years to release such a basic document. Regardless of political opinion, the issue will no doubt have some level of impact on the polls.

These days Donald Trump, who is suspected of making a run for political office (as our next President) has brought up the subject again and as would be expected Hollywood stars like Robert Dinero are coming out in full force to defend our leader.

In a recent interview with NBC’s Brian Williams, Dinero was visibly annoyed with Trumps accusations. Dinero’s stance was that Trump had no right to make such accusations without any proof to back it up. Dinero went on to say the the accusations were “unfounded and without proof”. With 2012 elections about a year and a half away, this sort of “word fight” will only increase.

The reporter was from a Dallas based television station and asked the president why he thought that he was so unpopular in Texas. President Obama went on to say that Texas a big Republican state and that he had nothing but respect for the fine people from that state.

Trump thinks that it is peculiar that people don’t have memories of Obama as a youngster. He believes that people he went to school with and childhood friends should have some recollection of him.

Meanwhile, Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie says that he was a friend of Obama’s parents. He says that he even remembers when Obama was born.

In 2008 Obama produced a certification of live birth. The certificate states his birthplace as Honolulu, Hawaii. Trump still feels that Obama may be hiding something, because he didn’t present his original birth certificate.

This all comes about in the discussions with Trump concerning his possible presidential candidacy in 2012. He believes that the people will vote for someone who can help and protect the country.

According to a report out of Colorado, the First Lady allegedly had ribs during her Presidents Day ski weekend.

Based on this report, Limbaugh speculated that Obama was not following her own nutritional advice.

Limbaugh went on to say that Obama is not Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue material.

By Limbaugh’s calculations, the ribs represented a 1,500 calories and 141 grams of fat. Reports from Vail Daily tell a different story, reporting that the meal would be closer to 600 calories.

Obama’s meal also included pickled pumpkin salad with arugula, hominy wild mushrooms, and sautéed kale.

He always said that he wanted to kick the habit and according to the First Lady Michelle the President has done just that.

Michelle Obama made her first live interview appearance on NBC’s Today Show and she claimed that the President had been almost a year of quitting smoking; a habit that he picked up in his teenaged years.

According to White House officials and Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, they are saying that the last time that the President smoked a cigarette was sometime during last March.

Obama has reportedly invited Ireland’s Prime Minister, Brian Cowen, to the White House to celebrate the popular Irish holiday on Wednesday, March 17. Also in attendance at the White House on March 17 will be Peter Robinson, who is the First Minister or Northern Ireland, and Martin McGuiness, who is the Northern Ireland’s Deputy First Minister.

According to the official press release, President Obama would like to show his appreciation to the Irish political leaders after they reached an important agreement that will lead to further peace on the European island. The press release further stated that the United States and Ireland share deep cultural ties and an overall commitment to make positive changes in the world. Obama also shared his appreciation towards the Taoiseach and the UK Prime Minister, Gordon Brown.

While St Patrick’s Day in the United State is largely a day full of binge drinking, it is a national holiday in Ireland and in Northern Ireland. In those countries the day is an annual “feast day” and is a day of significant importance to Catholics in both countries.
