But the “Russian Roulette” singer seems to be healing quite nicely. RiRi was spotted being “openly affectionate” with 90210 actor Tristan Wilds at a party she hosted in her L.A. home last week.

“No one knew why Tristan was there initially, because it was not an industry party — it was very intimate. But everyone quickly realized they weren’t meeting for the first time, because they were openly affectionate for everyone to see,” said a source.

The two were introduced by a music producer whom they have both worked with.

Rihanna’s friends approve of the new beau in her life and think they make a good pair. Said one of them, “He’s a real gentleman. She likes him a lot, and it shows. From the moment he walked into her party, Rihanna lit up.”

Brown was arrested, charged and plead guilty to felony assault for which he has a sentence of community service and therapy.

Rihanna spoke about their relationship in an interview with Diane Sawyer on “Good Morning America” Thursday saying “That’s embarrassing. that’s the type of person I fell in love with. So far in love, so unconditional, that I went back. That’s not what I want to teach people.”

She warned other women in the same situation “It’s completely normal to go back. You start lying to yourself. I’ll say that to any young girl who is going through domestic violence: Don’t react off of love.”

The 21 year-old singer says she now “feels strong’. The interview continued Friday morning with RIhanna explaining more about the incident saying while the assault was happening “There was no person when I looked at him. He had no soul in his eyes. Just blank.”

Rihanna still wishes Brown well and says “I don’t hate him at all. I actually love and care about him and I’m concerned about him doing well. I want him to do well. have a great career, have a great life, and grow up. Just take this as something that you had to go through to grow up and learn.”

Rihanna finally spoke out about the beating she received in February from her then boyfriend Chris Brown.

In the Interview, the 21-year-oold singer speaks candidly about her relationship with former lover Chris Brown.

“The more in love we became, the more dangerous we became for each other,” Rihanna shared with Sawyer. “He was definitely my first big love.”

She continued: “This happened to me… and it can happen to anybody.”

The “Unbrella” singer tells Diane Sawyer she was embarrassed that she “fell in love with that person.”

“So far in love. So unconditional that I went back. It’s humiliating to say this happened. To accept that? It’s a traumatizing experience,” she told Sawyer.

“I stayed. I even went back after he beat me, which was wrong,” she added. “But again … I’m a human being and people put me on a very unrealistic pedestal. And all these expectations, I’m not perfect.”

In the two-part interview, Rihanna will also discuss her family life, growing up in Barbados and how life has been for her since her split from Chris Brown.

The full interview with Rihanna airs Friday night on 20/20.

The singer will appear on Good Morning America this Thursday in her first interview since the February attack.

“This happened to me. … It can happen to anyone,” the singer, 21, tells Diane Sawyer.

Rihanna said the situation was even more difficult because Brown with her first love.

“He was definitely my first big love,” said the singer.

Brown was sentenced to five years probation and six months community service in August over the attack.
