Activia Suit Settled for Millions

The Dannon Co., maker of the Activia yogurt product, has recently been sued and settled out of court to pay out a hefty sum of money to 39 states that came together, claiming that the company over-hyped the health benefits of Activia. FDA Issues Warning Over Weight loss pills

The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a warning on weight loss supplements claiming that they can lead to kidney damage. The pills in question are Alli and Xenical. They say that they can cause severe liver damage in very rare cases. Both Alli and Xenical are sold over the counter. FDA Reviewing Reports of Numerous Tylenol Side Effects

The FDA is checking out reports that there are a minimum of 775 adverse side effects from recalled drugs, from the McNeil company. Their parent corporation is Johnson & Johnson.
