Kirstie Alley Fires Back At George Lopez

Actress Kirstie Alley may have been a heavyweight, but the former ‘Cheers’ star has a lot to cheer about this year. Alley has been well known in the past for her yo-yo dieting and large stature. For the last several months the actress has followed a strict diet plan, and her training for this season’s run of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ has made a very noticeable impression on her physique, but not everyone appreciates her work.

Comedian George Lopez recently cracked jokes at the starlet, remarking that she dances like a pig. Alley didn’t appreciate the off-color humor and believes that an apology Lopez recently posted to his Twitter account is not sincere.

“I don’t consider “I misjudged the joke” an apology,” Alley replied, via her own Twitter page.

Despite Lopez’s opinion of her portion of this week’s ‘DWTS’ episode, Alley and her partner came in at second place.

Alley has also said that she has forgiven Lopez for his crude comment.

George Lopez Next in the Cheating Husband Club

He stood by her side when her husband’s scandal became public but now will Sandra Bullock stand by his? George Lopez, famous comedian and talk-show host has been accused of cheating on his wife of 17 years with a prostitute.

The escort named “Tiffany”, said that she had a tríste with Lopez, 49, for $500 in Tampa Bay, Florida. “Tiffany” provided the National Enquirer with text messages Lopez sent her and stated that he asked her to contact some friends about doing a threesome with the star.

She also stated that a friend of hers had sex with Lopez on a separate occasion.

Coming just after Lopez was celebrated in several magazines for supporting Sandra Bullock through her husband’s cheating scandal, his wife may be blindsided by this new information. Ann Lopez, who provided her husband with a kidney in April of 2005, has been married to Lopez since September of 1993 and provided the star with one beautiful daughter, Mayan.

Though the National Enquirer has allowed this much information be seen on their webpage, to find out any further information and to see the text messages “Tiffany” reportedly received from Lopez, the latest edition of the Enquirer will be on store shelves immediately.

George Lopez Supports Sandra Bullock

George Lopez’s ABC sitcom was produced by Sandra Bullock. The show ended in 2007 and George Lopez has remained friends with Sandra Bullock ever since. George Lopez, the comedian, visited her recently to show his support, after the Kids’ Choice Awards. Meanwhile, Sandra Bullock’s husband has entered an Arizone rehab clinic, after the news broke that he had been with 4 women so far. In fact, the California Highway Patrol stopped Jesse James on his way to the clinic on account of a missing front license plate.

Sandra Bullock has been sighted a few times and seems to have gotten over her husband’s cheating to some extent. News keeps breaking about Jesse James. This week there was a picture of him wearing a Nazi military cap and putting two fingers on his lip emulating Hitler’s mustache. His attorney defended this move, saying the hat was a gift from his godfather, who is Jewish. A very odd explanation indeed. Overall, Jesse has remained mum over the ordeal, only saying, “he is who he is.”

Donald Trump thought highly of Jesse James when he was on his show “The Apprentice.” However, Mr. Trump did say that Jesse James had a problem getting along with his fellow contestants.

George Lopez and Wanda Sykes Join Late Night

David Letterman, Conan O’Brien, Jon Stewart, and other late night talk show hosts are now facing additional competition in their time slots. Comedians George Lopez and Wanda Sykes are set to launch their own late night talk shows this month.

George Lopez, who is well-known for his self-titled TV sitcom and stand-up comedy specials, says his show “Lopez Tonight” will appeal to people who are looking for something different from late night shows like the “Tonight Show”. Lopez has guest-hosted on several late night talk shows.

Wanda Sykes is also famous for her stand-up comedy performances. Her previous talk show experience includes work on HBO’s “The Chris Rock Show”. She says her show will not feature the “typical interview with the celebrity”.

“Lopez Tonight” airs Monday through Thursday nights at 11 PM Eastern time on TBS. “The Wanda Sykes Show” airs Saturday nights on FOX at 11 PM Eastern time.
