The incident happened after Janet Jackson and Justin Timber lake were performing together during the halftime show. A small piece of material on Janet Jackson’s costume was torn away thus exposing her to the millions of viewers at home watching on TV. Both Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake claimed it to be an “accident”.

In 2008 the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia ruled that the broadcast regulators acted capriciously in handing out the fine for the thirty seconds of nudity viewers experienced.

Last year, however, the U.S. Supreme Court asked the lower court to consider putting the fine back into place. This directing was done after another case ruling that found the Federal Communications Commission could warn even the slightest profanity with a strict fine.

On Tuesday the appeals court will take into consideration whether or not the Federal Communications Commission is able to fine the broadcaster for the hefty sum of $550,000.

There are many who say Ms. Jackson is just now showing off her natural beauty and natural short hair by kicking the weaves to the curb. Whether those longer locks were her own natural glory of not really is not the issue though because this newer style is highlighting the professionally sculpted nose and those amazing cheekbones.

There is an amazing resemblance in the profile of the newly shorn Janet Jackson and her late brother Michael that is even more pronounced thanks to the head hugging hairstyle she is now sporting.

It remains to see if this shorter hairstyle is an homage to the warm months or if Janet Jackson’s new ‘do is her own personal statement about embracing her age and maturity. Other Hollywood stars have gone through a similar change during their early to mid 40s. Perhaps she is symbolically shedding baggage, worries and her old image and will soon be debuting a more thoughtful and mature version of the rocking Janet J that fans will fall in love with all over again.

On Wednesday, Janet Jackson stepped out of chic London restaurant Cecconi sporting a new short ‘do. She was walking hand in hand with new rumored about bow, wealthy business man Wissam Al Mana, her hair now cut short, cropped, and slicked back.

Though there is a lot of debate whether or whether not the style looks good, the big topic being discussed online and in blog posts, is was her hair even real. People are going back and forth over this issue mainly. What does it really matter anyway? Throughout the ages people have been changing their own personal style. Janet has had long hair for the majority of her career, which has spanned from childhood. Perhaps this latest change is brought on because of her break up, last summer, from her recent break up from Jermaine Dupre, they shared seven years together.

Throughout the years Janet’s hair has gone through many changes. From curly, crimped, and in braids to long and luxurious she always looks amazing and is a fashion icon. Needless to say that she is still turning heads. Janet Jackson, now 44, is in the process of promoting her new movie, “Why Did I Get Married, 2”. It’s hard to say which will be getting more headlines, the movie or Janet’s hair.

While on a promotional tour for her latest movie, “Why Did I Get Married, Too?”, Jackson commented on Gaga’s health, saying, “She works so hard and I told her I think she needs to slow down just a little bit, take some time out for herself.” She also complimented Gaga’s work ethic and said that the singer “truly is a sweetheart.” Gaga is preparing for a North American tour and a new album.

Randy Jackson stated the stun gun delivery was intercepted by security and was turned over to the family matriarch, Katherine Jackson. The elderly woman is the mother to Michael Jackson and became the legal guardian of his three young children after his untimely death almost a year ago. Katherine reportedly locked the gun away for safe keeping. Several of the Jackson family’s children live at the home as well.

Security guards at the house tell a different story. They were dismayed to find Jermaine’s children trying to stun the youngest Jackson son, Blanket. Security confiscated the gun but somebody called children’s services, which resulted in a late night visit to the home.

Jackson’s family lawyer, Adam Streisand confirms the visit and issued the following statement, “Mrs. Jackson is doing the utmost to safeguard the welfare of her grandchildren.”

One stun gun was confiscated by DCFS but rumors suggest a second gun is still in the home. DCFS will be returning to the home today to interview the children involved. A follow-up visit is the standard procedure in any child welfare case.

Janet stated in a recent interview with ABC News that she recognized her brother’s addiction and tried to help him but he would not admit that it was a problem.

Janet claims that she and her family tried to get him help and intervene with the addiction, but it didn’t help. “That’s what you do when you love someone. A few times. We just weren’t successful” She commented.

“You can’t make them drink water. I’m a true believer in prayer, a big believer in prayer, but it’s something that you can’t do for them. Something they have to do for themselves.” the 43 year old stated.

When the question came up of Jacko in denial she replied with “Possibly, I wish he could answer this question for you and not me. I felt that he was in denial.” She added about Michael’s death “It’s still so difficult for me to believe. It’s, you know, you have to accept what it is. But it’s hard. You have to move on with your life. You have to accept what is and I understand that.”

The singer mentioned that she blames her brother’s death on the Physician Dr. Conrad Murray who administered the anesthetic drug that was given to the King of Pop just shortly before his death on June 25, 2009. Janet believes that Dr. Murray should not be allowed to practice medicine ever again.

Janet Jackson Says Family Tried To help Michael

She tells Robin Roberts of ABC News “He was the one that was administering, I think he is responsible.”

Murray has admitted giving Michael the anaesthetic propofol but we’re still waiting on whether or not he administered the lethal dose.

Janet talks about the day she found out about her 50 year-old brother’s death “I was at my house in New York. You know, another day. Another morning. And I get a call … [my assistant] said, ‘Your brother’s been taken to the hospital. It’s on CNN right now,’” I called everyone. There’s a line busy or — someone wasn’t picking up. I spoke to mother. I spoke to my brother Tito. I spoke to my nephew Austin. I spoke to my sister La Toya. I told them to call me when they got to the hospital. And I remember thinking nobody’s calling me back, so I tried calling again, and that’s how I found out that he was no longer … I couldn’t believe it.”

She adds “It just didn’t ring true to me. It felt like a dream. It’s still so difficult for me to believe. It’s, you know, you have to accept what is. But it’s hard. You have to move on with your life. You have to accept what is and I understand that.”
