It is being said that Hudson will play a nun in an orphanage where Larry, Curly, and Moe stay at. Other actors that are set to appear in the film are Sean Hayes, Will Sasso, and Chris Diamontopolous.

Larry David and Jane Lynch also appear in the flim with Lynch playing the role of Mother Superior. There is no exact release date for the film but it is confirmed that it is in the production stages.

The Oscar buzz could certainly be coming back to Hudson as she is set to comprise the role of Winnie Mandela in a new movie that will star Terrence Howard as the former South African president Nelson Mandela.

The biopic which chronicles the life of the infamous leader is now being filmed. It is being said though that Mrs. Mandela herself has voiced concern over the movie because she could not understand why the producers of the film did not come to her or consult with her when developing the film.

Jennifer is currently not pregnant as stated by her publicist and is in fact going to sell the home where her family lives before they were murdered. She is truly ready to move forward with her life. The actress is ready to move on to other projects.

She has not sworn off the concept of getting pregnant in the past. She plans on making plenty of money with these projects as she moves forward with her career. Her publicist and her legal team will keep us up to date on whether or not she actually become pregnant in the future. If it does happen in the future, it will have been her second child.

According to Variety, Jennifer Hudson is set to star as Winnie Mandela, Nelson Mandela’s former wife, in the drama “Winnie”.

Jennifer said about the role “I was compelled and moved when I read the script. Winnie Mandela is a complex and extraordinary woman and I’m honoured to be the actress asked to portray her. This is a powerful part of history that should be told.”

The film will revolve around the life of Winnie who stood alongside her husband to fight against apartheid but was later ridiculed for her association with a bodyguard who murdered a 14 year-old.

Filming begins in May in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Transkei and Robben Island – where Nelson Mandela spent 18 years in prison.

in her young career, Hudson has already won an Oscar for her screen  the role of Effie White in ‘Dreamgirls.’ Now Variety says she has been cast as the lead in ‘Winnie,’ which will reportedly tell both the ‘good and bad’ story of former South African president Nelson Mandela’s ex-wife.

Winnie Mandela is a controversial figure. During Nelson Mandela’s 27-year incarceration, she campaigned for his release and fought against apartheid but the couple separated while Nelson was still in prison. Winnie became known for violent rhetoric and her reputation was irrevocably tarnished by allegations of involvement in the 1988 torture and murder of 14-year-old Stompie Moeketsi, a.k.a. James Seipei. She was also convicted of fraud in 2003.

‘Winnie’ will be directed by South African filmmaker Darrell J. Roodt, whose credits include ‘Cry, The Beloved Country’ and ‘Sarafina!’ His 2006 film ‘Yesterday’ was Africa’s Best Foreign Film nominee.

Production of ‘Winnie’ begins in May in Johannesburg, Cape Town, the Transkei and Robben Island, where the future president spent 18 of his 27 years in prison. Canada’s Equinoxe Films is involved in the production.

The script is based on the Anne Marie du Preez Bezdrob biography ‘Winnie Mandela: A Life.’

Another Nelson Mandela project is underway as well. He  will be portrayed by Morgan Freeman in the Clint Eastwood-directed ‘Invictus.’
