In this case, intimate doesn’t mean sexual, but it was important enough to Lopez that she try to stop the tape from being released to the public. A judge ruled against Lopez, allowing Vasquez to present the footage to a number of video producers and distributors. One said producer of the project has been accused of stealing the video footage from Vasquez’s home.

Vasquez’s attorney has asked that the tape be returned, as Lopez was able to get an injunction to block the sale of the tape.

Lopez has managed to temporarily halt the release of this tape after she got a restraining order against Vasquez. She can not sell the video without a consent from J.Lo.

Though the video does not contain a sex scene, it does feature about 15-20 minutes of total nudity. Noa sold the tape to Vasquez for $1, and she now plans on selling it to porn sites.

The intimate tape was shot way back in 1997 when the couple were briefly married. The wedding only lasted a few months, but Ojani Noa still retains possession of the so-called sex tape. It is still not clear what exactly is on the tape. There are no clear reports on if it contains nudity or if it doesn’t.

During the court battle, Lopez’s attorneys argued that Ojani Noa signed an agreement during the divorce that barred him from releasing the video. To get around this agreement Ojani Noa reportedly sold the tape to his girlfriend, who the judge says can release it and is under no legal obligation to Lopez.
