A close friend of Kate Gosselin has said recently went on record to say that “there is no chance of a reconciliation.”

The stories are believed to have been a tabloid brew since the two have been making the children their priority, as opposed to public appearances.

Jon has recently accepted a new job, while Kate is only making appearances on ‘Kate Plus 8.’

Jon Gosselin, who found the rumors to be humorous, recently denied the rumors via his Twitter account and has been dating. Kate, on the other hand, has remained mum about the matter and has remained single.

A source that is close to Jon is saying that the rumors are unfounded, and that they are “almost funny”.

This source also said that the couple “… are not getting back together. They have both moved on… and they get along only for the sake of their kids.”

Kate is still single, obviously happy with her life, whereas Jon is dating Ellen Ross.

To try to ensure that the rumors were squelched, Jon stated on his Twitter account, “NO, I am NOT back with Kate. Sorry to burst your bubble…” the media certainly enjoys speculation, though.

It is being said that he is in the sales marketing department trying to persuade people to get their energy from Green Pointe.

Jon Gosselin Gets Construction Job

The ex-reality star is reportedly selling his BMW in order to help him pay his monthly child support to ex-wife Kate Gosselin. According to sources, Jon has been ordered to pay Kate $22,000 a month in order to help support their eight kids.

A source recently told US Weekly, “Jon is selling his BMW to raise cash until he gets a job.”

Sources hint that he hopes to make a break back into television. He told TMZ.com of his plans, “I just can’t afford the $22,000 a month right now. That is why I’m trying to find a job. I would like a job in some aspect of TV, probably as a host.”

It seems that Gosselin has blown through the money that he made from his former reality television days. He was seen dropping cash on designer purses, cars, clothes and bar tabs last year.

Gosselin, 33, is known as the father of the famous brood in the former reality television show, “Jon & Kate Plus 8.” In the final days of the reality series Gosselin took his ex-wife to court in order to obtain a court order against having his children appear on the reality show.

Reports are surfacing that Jon, who was sued by the network TLC in2009 in a breach of contract claim because he refused to finish the last season of the huge smash success Jon & Kate Plus 8, may be returning to the network.

Kate Gosselin is signed on to do a new show, called Kate Plus 8, similar to the original program, a documentary-style look into her life raising the couple’s eight children. The difference being, of course, that the titular couple are now divorced. Jon is now expressing interest in appearing on this new program, despite the obvious animosity between the two former married partners. Recently, the couple has been in court regarding the custody of the children, and Jon is reportedly using Kate’s appearances on Dancing with the Stars as an example of why he should win.

With Kate also signed on for two new shows with TLC, including one called Twist of Fate, it could simply be that Jon is trying to leverage his former wife into agreeing to let him be a part of this new lucrative contract, rather than any true interest in getting sole custody of their eight children.

Twenty-five year old law student, Morgan Christie was Jon’s most recent girlfriend, with the two having met in late December. Reports detailed the two were completely inseparable and hanging all over each other at the Sundance Film Festival in January. Apparently, times have changed.

Friends of Gosselin are saying Christie broke up with Jon due to his laziness and lack of motivation. She accused him of doing nothing but lying around all day and not even trying to be productive or find work. They also say he claims to “feel like a loser” since she broke up with him. Christie has been reported as saying she is now feeling “very relieved.”

While his divorce has only been finalized since December, his ex-wife Kate keeps the eight kids the majority of the time. She is currently participating in this season’s Dancing With The Stars. Sources close to the family say that she does not trust Jon with the kids.

Jon met Morgan Christie, a 25 year old law student, in Utah while skiing with a previous girlfriend, and apparently they created some sparks. They became an instant couple, and were seen at the Sundance Film Festival.

Jon moved into her California home and it looked like things were getting serious.

Apparently the attraction didn’t last, as Morgan Christie apparently asked Gosselin to leave her Santa Barbara home on March 21st.

Friends of Christie reported to InTouch that she was fed up with several months of supporting Jon and his laziness.
There are no reports of what the future holds for Jon Gosselin, professionally.

Ex-girlfriend Hailey Glassman has a new reality show, and ex-wife Kate Gosselin debuted on Dancing with the Stars this week, so maybe Jon can line up a new tv gig, or at least find a new twenty-something girlfriend.

Sources say he was taking this break-up hard, so maybe he will take a break from the dating scene and decide what he wants to be when he grows up.

TLC eventually removed Gosselin from the show and renamed the program as “Kate Plus Eight.” After being removed from the program, Jon Gosselin sued the network for damages for breach of contract. In December 2009, the network won a preliminary injunction for the breach of contract suit. TLC defended themselves saying that Gosselin breached his contract when he appeared on numerous talk shows after all of the negative press he received.

Gosselin countered saying he had a right to use his media personality to earn a living and that the network violated Pennsylvania’s child labor laws when they filmed his children. Apparently, TLC and Gosselin have finally found a settlement, although the terms are held confidential.

The former couple attended a hearing this past weekend to negotiate the final details.

As a sing of truce Jon even brought Kate some roses.

“This has been called the real-life War of the Roses,” Jon’s attorney Mark Heller told People, “and he brought that as a peace offering to break the ice and try to bring the war to an end.”

I think Jon deserves another chance. Lets be honest, Kate wasn’t exactly a loving wife. Both of them need to think hard about what has occured since starting their reality show. Honestly I blame TLC and anyone who profited off their family for this mess. Even if Kate don’t forgive him, he’ll find someone else.

He now realizes that the money goes where the children go and he will not be the custodial parent and therefore he is trying to make up with Kate to keep his money train going. Had they had Jesus in their life, the situation would have never took the path that it did. The kids should be the main focus not who did what to whom. They both screwed up and they both need to accept that and work together to show the kids that it is possible to divorce and still get along regardless of the past or present.

I agree with what Dee Dee posted. Mariage takes three with God at the top and the partners below. I don’t care who you are marriage takes work, and forgiveness from time to time. Neither of them are perfect. Before this devorce is over they should attend A Marriage Encounter weekend. That will change everything if they allow the Lord to be first in their lives.

Considering that their show afforded them opportunities, and the financial wherewithall to purchase a $1,000,000+ home, Jon should have been doing all he could to protect that source of revenue, not cut his nose off to spite his face by shutting down production. Those children are used to having the production crew around, know they are safe when they are around, and as previous shows have indicated, Jon and Kate can rely on them to keep an eye on the kids while they are shuttling them back and forth between hotel room, restaurants and the like. I hope Kate is successful with Kate Plus 8 so the family doesn’t have to move back into a 3 bedroom home or apartment and try to make ends meet on the salary of a registered nurse!! And, what contribution is Jon able to make for child support when he is unemployed (as he has been for quite some time) and spending all his time and money on his “babes.” As for his parenting skills, my personal opinion is he only spends time with the kids when it MIGHT improve someone’s personal opinion of him.

While I think both were in the wrong for their break-up, I think this is a case of “too little, too late”. He wants the status of the party celebrities and all the money, but blocked her from continuing to make a living to support her kids, as she has done in the past. I think she was justified in turning down the “gift”.

After months and months of back-and-forth battling, Jon and Kate Gosselin are almost divorced.

After slamming his now ex wife Kate Gosselin, in the press, hitting on younger girls at bars and basically making a fool out of himself, the fallen reality star attempted a peace offering during a five-and-a-half-hour arbitration hearing on Saturday.

Us magazine reports that Jon presented Kate with a bouquet of roses, which she refused, when they both appeared at a Pennsylvania courthouse.

“It was a positive move in the right direction for us to bring them together to the mediation table,” Jon’s lawyer told People magazine.

“Obviously before two warring parties can smoke the peace pipe, they have to sit down at a table and address the issues that brought them to the skirmish.”

The forum couple were there to discuss custody of their twins and septuplets as well as the division of assets, says the magazine. An arbitrator will rule within 30 days, which means the two could finalize a divorce by the end of the year.

The final episode of Jon & Kate Plus Eight airs tonight on TLC, with the debut of Kate’s new series, Kate Plus Eight, set to launch in the spring.
