The top just happens to not be very noticeable. The straps are falling off Holmes’ shoulders and the small cups are covered by her arms. The seductive and sultry glances at the camera add even more to the raw sex appeal of these ads.

Photos taken on a beach feature a sun-kissed Holmes with fresh, ocean-damp skin.

Other photos show Holmes with shiny oiled skin and some have her looking as if she rolled on the beach while oiled and wet, leaving trace amounts of sand across her skin. If you pay close attention, you might see the H. Stern jewelry she is advertising.

Star magazine has gone on to offer their apologies and will even publish their public apology in their upcoming issue to Katie Holmes. In addition to the upcoming issue, Star will also be making a large donation to a charity as a part of the settlement between them and Holmes.

In a statement released by Katie Holmes she goes on to say how pleased she is that she and the magazine was able to resolve the matter. She also says she will gladly accept their apology. Holmes hopes with the matter being out of the way she can now focus on her acting career.

The donation will be made to Dizzy Feet Foundation which helps underprivileged children pay for dance lessons.

Holmes has also expressed some minor disappointment over the network’s rejection of the show.

The starlet was shopping for groceries when she received a phone call letting her know that the series would not be aired.

“OK, I hope this finds a home because a lot of work went into it,” Holmes told her agent.

During a recent interview, Holmes went on to say that it was not her place to discuss the reasons that the network decided not to run the series and that she hoped it would instead be picked up by a different network.

“I was as shocked as everybody else because I didn’t see it coming!” she admitted.

The mini-series has since been picked up by Reelz and will air in April.

Now the pair have decided to dabble in handbag design. The women have had a successful run with their women’s line and are ready to tackle the competitive world of handbag sales.

On Wednesday, the first calfskin bag in the collection was unveiled. Holmes and Yang collaborated with Italian designers from Valextra for the new bag line.

The first bag will begin selling in July exclusively at Barney’s and will retail at 3,950 dollars. Holmes’s bag design is simple, but chic and will be available in three different color schemes.

The handbag line is expected to launch a winter collection in the near future that will include a variety of colors and prints.

The ‘Dawson’s Creek’ and ‘Disturbing Behavior’ actress admits that she and her mother bonded over doing craft projects, a tradition that she is glad to carry on with her own daughter.

“My husband just bought me a sewing machine for my birthday,” Holmes said, with a smile.

A new A British translation firm called “Today’s Translation” asks the question, “whats in a name.”  The new service is supposed to help parents-to-be avoid embarrassment down the road.

Take The name Suri Cruise for example.  Suri, translates to  “pickpocket” in Japanese, “turned sour” in French, and “horse mackerels” in Italian.

“It sounds incredibly nice, but in Japanese, we found it means pickpocket,” said Jurga Zilinskiene, the company’s chief executive.

For about $1,700, the company’s linguists will perform a “name translation audit,” meaning they’ll check out the name in 100 languages.
“You’ll rest assured you are picking a good name,” Zilinskiene said. “At the end of the day, it’s something a person has to live with for the rest of their lives.”

Suri Cruise Name Translates To "Pickpocket"

The film based on a novel written by Galt Niederhoffer, is about eight old friends from college that re-unite for a wedding with Holmes starring as Laura, the maid of honour at Lila’s (Anna Paquin) wedding.

Already cast in the film are Josh Duhamel (Groom), Elijah Wood, Adam Brody, Malin Akerman and Jeremy Strong. Holmes will also be executive producer for “The Romantics”, her first time producing.

Filming begins this week in New York City and is scheduled to hit the theatres sometime next year.

According to Variety, Katie Holmes is replacing Liv Tyler in the indie comedy "The Romantics".
