Faith Margaret Kidman Urban was born via a surrogate at Nashville’s Centennial Women’s Hospital.

Kidman and Urban, both 43, said in a statement “Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret. No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier.”

The couple have been married since 2006 and have a daughter, which Kidman birthed, named Sunday Rose. Kidman also has two children she adopted with ex-husband Tom Cruise, Bella, 18, and Connor, 15.

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman Add to Their Family

Faith Margaret was born December 28, 2010, and is the biological daughter of both Kidman and Urban. The reason for the surrogate birth still remains a mystery to the general public, although many speculate that Kidman, who had previously adopted two children with former husband Tom Cruise, may have been having trouble conceiving.

Kidman was pregnant at the time that she and Cruise divorced, later having a miscarriage.

Kidman is very happy to have become a parent once again with her new husband Keith Urban.

In July, 2008 Kidman gave birth to her daughter Sunday Rose. She said it was a wonderful experience to have a two and a half year old daughter at the age of 43.

When Kidman and Urban first met they dreaded Sundays but soon after Sunday became their favorite day of the week.

When Kidman gave birth they decided to name the baby Sunday Rose because Sunday was the day of the week that Kidman and Urban enjoyed the most together.

Nicole Kidman Misses Her Adopted Kids

The album, titled “Get Closer,” features eight love songs even though it is a relatively short overall CD at only 33 total minutes. Early reviews say the songs are evidence that the Australian crooner and his wife, actress Nicole Kidman, are overwhelmingly happy together.

While the majority of the album is made up of tunes to appeal to the lover in everyone, there is still room for some action.

Five of the remaining six songs on the CD are faster, featuring guitars, banjos and a little bit of a hard rock effect.

Emotion Evident On Keith Urban's New Album

The 2009 American Music Awards took place Sunday night in Los Angeles and had country singer Taylor Swift winning five awards including the top award of Artist of the Year.

The 19 year-old beat out the likes of Kings of Leon, Lady GaGa, Eminem, and the late Michael Jackson for the title.

Swift offered her condolences to the Jackson family in her acceptance speech, live from London, “I just want to say that music has never been ultimately about competition and to even be mentioned in a category with Michael Jackson who we’ll miss and love forever is an unimaginable honour. And I just want to say I’m sending my love to the Jackson family and Janet.”

Michael Jackson was definitely remembered with his sister Janet opening the show with a medley of her songs and his brother Jermaine, sporting a sequined glove, accepting awards for Michael saying “We love you, Michael. It’s not just about the winnings, the awards, it’s mainly the message. The message that Michael had will live on forever…and he saw good in everyone and he wanted them to do good. To start with love and let’s love each other.”

Also taking home awards were the Black Eyed Peas, Whitney Houston, Keith Urban, Jay-Z and wife Beyonce Knowles.

Lady GaGa and Adam Lambert wowed the audience with their outrageous performances while Jennifer Lopez took a spill while singing her latest single Louboutins.

Trio Lady Antebellum nabbed two awards for single and vocal group. Rascal Flatts had been a long time favorite taking the vocal group category for the past six years.

Darius Tucker proved his singing talent could conquer country music hearts and snagged the award for new artist. He will also go down in the books for being the first black artist to win in this category.

Fan favorite Sugarland took home the award for vocal duo for the third year in a row.

Brad Paisley only won two awards, including male vocalist, after leading the nominations in seven categories. Musical event of the year was awarded to Paisley and Keith Urban for their duet “Start a Band.”

Timid newcomer Jamey Johnson went home with the award for song of the year “In Color,” co-written with James Otto and Lee Thomas.

Taylor Swift Sweeps CMA's

The 19-year-old sensation has the record sales. She beat out every living artist – no matter the genre – this year with more than 3 million copies of her “Fearless” CD sold and counting (only Michael Jackson has sold more). The album remains No. 3 after 51 weeks on the charts

And she’s moving concert tickets as fast as they can print them.

That might be enough to sway the more than 5,000 members of the Country Music Association, who decide who gets the trophy for entertainer of the year, the CMA’s highest honour, at the CMA Awards on Wednesday night (the broadcast will air live on ABC).

She’s the youngest ever nominated for the award and the first solo female act since Faith Hill in 2000, and she’s faced a lot of questions about whether either is a limiting factor.

“I think you have to do the work and put in the effort and do the touring that it takes to win entertainer of the year,” she said in an interview with The Associated Press. “And I don’t really think it has anything to do with gender. I think if you want to compete with the boys, play on a level that they’re playing at.”

Swift will also be performing the night’s opening number.

The 43rd Annual CMA Awards, hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, will air live from the Sommet Center in Nashville, Wednesday, Nov. 11 (8:00-11:00 PM/ET) on the ABC Television Network.
