Gibson has a hard a very hard time with his career and has ruined his overall image after his encounter with James Mee back in 2010.

His anti-Jewish remarks is now the hot case in the court as Mee is suing Gibson. The judge stated that he can go along with the trial on religious grounds but will dismiss his claim for retaliation because of the lack of evidence.

Most of Gibson’s fans have stated that they are still behind him in this case but he seems to just make it so hard to stand up for him.

With all these things going against Gibson, people are wondering if he will be able to resurrect his career.

Jodie has always stuck by Mel, even when there were reports made in 2006 of sexist and anti-Semitic comments and a domestic violence accusation.

She finds it really strange that people are criticizing her so much for being loyal to him. Ever since starring with Mel Gibson in Maverick in 1994, they’ve been good friends and she says she will stand by him.

“I’m not defending his behavior. I’m defending the man that I know, and I know he’s kind and loyal is an incredible professional. He’s probably the most beloved actor of anybody I’ve ever worked with in the film business, and I don’t say that lightly,” said Jodie Foster in an interview.

The home is reported to have six bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, as well as an exercise room, media room, and conservatory.

The property also houses separate staff quarters, several guest houses, and a home gym.

It is listed as having more than 5,400 sq. ft. of space.

Gibson has sold several properties this year, amidst his current and bitter custody battle with former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

Those real estate parcels included property in Connecticut as well as in Costa Rica.

Gibson took a chance on Downy right after he got out of jail and Downy has every intention of doing what he can for Gibson.

The two were and raising their infant daughter Lucia when things went awry. According to Grigorieva, Gibson assaulted her while she was holding the child and she has the tapes to prove it.

The woman went on to nudge and pressure the actor-director into buying her silence on a $15M price tag.

Gibson refused to budge. Gibson was arrested and the tapes, which still remain questionable in origin, were made public.

The actor recently appeared before a judge on the criminal matter of assault where he was sentenced to receive a year of counseling and to participate in a domestic violence program.

Grigorieva has since announced that she intends to pursue civil litigation against her former boyfriend.

Gibson responded by saying that he will wage a legal war against the woman, one that he will not settle lightly.

Oksana Grigorieva to File Civil Suit

Gibson and ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva have been feuding since July when Gregorieva accused Gibson of domestic violence. The couple are in a custody battle for their 16 month-old daughter Lucia.

Gisbon’s lawyer Blair Berk said in a statement “I know from almost 20 years as a criminal defense lawyer that sometimes justice can come for a client at too high a personal price. That is particularly so for Mel, whose right to due process can only be exercised in this case with an enormous media circus attached. Mel’s priority throughout all of this has been the best interests of his young daughter Lucia and the rest of his children be put first in any decisions made. It is only with that in mind that he asked me to approach the District Attorney with a proposal that would bring all of this to an immediate end.”

Gibson has seven other children with soon to be ex-wife Robyn Moore who he was married to for 28 years.

There is also an extortion case in the works against Oksana after she released recordings of Gisbon threatening her. No charges have been laid against Oksana yet.

His ex-girlfriend has accused Gibson of punching her and threatening her with on gun TMZ has reported that Gibson will appear in court on Friday and plead no contest to the misdemeanor charge, which is equal to him pleading guilty. TMZ also reported that he had made the deal to avoid a long court battle that could put a lot of stress on his family.

Blair Berk, Gibson’s attorney issued a statement saying that Gibson had asked her to come forward with a deal to officials to bring this matter to an end. Gibson’s main priority has been the best interests of his young daughter Lucia and the rest of his children. He wants them to be considered first before any decision will be made. Grigorieva is the mother of Mel’s youngest, infant daughter Lucia.

The problem with this whole situation is Mel Gibson won’t be in the country at the time the charges are pressed, making the whole situation look sketchy at best.

Mel Gibson is to be on a plane that is headed to Guatemala today. The purpose of the trip is that of charity. It is for a save the rain forest benefit.

Gibson is to be charged by the D.A. of Los Angeles this week with misdemeanor domestic violence. The charges come from allegations that were made by his ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva.

Grigorieva accused Gibson of attacking her during a dispute.

It looks as though Gibson will not be in the country when the charges are made against him.
