Kirstie Alley is once again on a diet program. The actress, famous for her weight loss and gain roller coaster ride, has again embarked upon a diet program. This time, she is approaching it a bit differently. The new diet program, called “Alley’s Organic Liaison”, embraces three supplements that are said to cleanse the body of toxins as well as curb cravings. One of Kirstie Alley’s biggest down falls in dieting has been her cravings.

Linked to the controversial Scientology religion (which was founded by science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbrd and focuses on natural ways to cure mental and physical illnesses) , Kirstie claims that there is absolutely no link between her religion and her new diet program in spite of the fact that the company headquarters just happen to be in the same building facility as the Church of Scientology offices. Additionally, Kirstie claims that her accountant, is a Scientology Jew and the headquarters utilize his address.

According to speculation, the company was started in an effort to funnel money into the well known religious sect. Kirstie remains steadfast in denying the allegations and states that she is too cheap to give the church that kind of money.

Kirstie Alley’s public weight loss battle is making headlines again. This time her new diet is being linked to the controversial Scientology religion. Although she is a Scientologist, she is not usually as outspoken as some of her other famous friends and practicing Scientologists Tom Cruise and John Travolta.

Her new reality show focuses on her latest struggle to lose weight, her self-proclaimed healthy, normal, happy children and her new weight loss program which she helped develop. The new program is called Alley’s Organic Liaison. It involves three supplements that cleanse the body and curb cravings. Cravings are one of Alley’s biggest hang-ups she tells interviewer Meredith Vieira.

The company headquarters happens to be in the same building as the Scientology offices. Alley vehemently denies any link between her religion and her diet program. She claims her accountant is a Scientology Jew and that the address is his. Many speculate, she started the company to funnel money into the religious sect. She scoffs at the rumor and states, she is too cheap to give them that kind of money.

Scientology was founded by science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard and focuses on natural methods to cure everything from mental illness to real illnesses.

PepsiCo is the world’s number two soft drink maker. It has pledged to remove its full-sugared drinks from schools worldwide by 2012. This withdrawal will affect around 200 countries. This is the first time a company, not being under compulsion, is withdrawing its product and has admitted that sugary drinks might not be the most healthy drink choices for children or adults.

In 2006, PepsiCo and the number one soda maker Coca Cola had agreed to remove their sugary drinks from all U.S. schools. Health groups have been attacking various companies, claiming that the sugar is contributing to obesity and the rise in Diabetes.

Earlier this month, Coke said that it would only sell its sugary colas in secondary schools but would withdraw them from elementary schools worldwide. Coke and Pepsi have both been working on tasty water drinks as replacements for the sodas being withdrawn from the schools.

Soda companies are under attack in New York and elsewhere, where taxes of a few cents are being proposed on their sodas. In this case it is not concern for the health of the children. It is the need for states to tax anything and everything to gain funds for their enormous state deficits.

Actress Kirstie Alley is promoting a new weight loss program she has designed herself. Alley has publicly battled with her weight for years. After leaving the limelight for several years to focus on motherhood, Alley gained weight and was criticized in the tabloids. She became a spokesperson for Jenny Craig and lost 75 pounds. However, Alley has gained back all of the weight she lost and is ready to try to shed the pounds again with her own weight loss program.

“Organic Liaison” is Alley’s own diet program that she has created. It is based on organic foods, vitamins, and supplements that are designed to suppress appetite and rid the body of toxins. The program focuses on calorie counting and costs five dollars a day to join, or $1,700 a year. Alley has already lost 20 pounds from “Organic Liaisons”.

There is much speculation that the program is tied to Scientology, as the program’s address is the same as some Scientology offices, and the executives of the program are all top-ranking Scientologists. Alley, who is also a high-ranking Scientologist, denies the program is tied in with the religion. She claims the address is actually her accountant’s office in Clearwater, Florida.

A 42 year old New Jersey woman is vying to be the world’s fattest by consuming more than 12,000 calories a day. Donna Simpson, who wears XXXXXXXL dresses already weighs an astounding 600 pounds, has her mind set on becoming the world’s fattest woman. To foot her $750 per week food bill, she runs a website where men pay to watch her eat. “I love eating and people love watching me eat,’” she told a British newspaper.” It makes people happy, and I’m not harming anyone.”

Simpson became the World’s Biggest Mom when she delivered her daughter in 2007 at 532 pounds. She needed a team of 30 medics to deliver her daughter Jacqueline during a high-risk Caesarean birth. Although she can only move 20ft before needing to sit down, she wants to be even bigger. ”I’d love to be 1,000lb. It might be hard though. Running after my daughter keeps my weight down,’” she said. Surprisingly, she says her 49 year old boyfriend, who she met on a dating site for plus-size people, has encouraged her to eat more even though he weighs a meager 150 pounds.

Despite the fact that Simpson cannot walk and uses a motorized scooter to get around, she says that she is healthy.

March 1, 2010 – Those pressed for time to carry out a regular exercise regiment will welcome the latest news from research conducted on the matter. In what is called interval training, individuals can engage in intensive workout routines for short periods of time and derive better results than going through the daily grind of long workout sessions.

By putting the body through quick, intensive exercise sets with brief periods of rest in between, research has proven that endurance, strength and speed will increase at a higher percentage rate than it would by performing the more conventional type of exercise routine.

For several hours following a short, intense work-out, carbohydrates and fat will burn as the metabolism rate descends from its sharp rise. Olympic athletes have been using interval training for some time now, with exceptional results. It was originally believed that it would be too physically demanding for non-professional athletes to adopt the same style of training. However, the basic concept informing interval training can be employed by the general public to achieve faster and better results without expending too much time. Experts caution that non-elite athletes should not overdo the intensity of the training, but rather take it slowly at first and build up to a more strenuous pace as the body adjusts to the new style of exercise.

At the February 26, 2010 NAACP Awards, Lee Daniels, the director of Precious: Based on the Novel “Push” by Sapphire, made what some are considering an egregious gaffe when accepting an award on behalf of the movie regarding the weight of Gabourey Sidibe who portrayed the part of precious.

“No one in Hollywood told me they wanted to see a movie about a 350 pound black girl who had HIV,” the LA Times reported Daniels as saying. He continued, saying “She’s not 350 pounds, Gabby, but the book says…before you were hired,” trying to fix his gaffe. Sidibe reportedly shook her head during the speech but no comment from her as yet has been published.

Precious, which focuses on the harsh realities of abuse that many in poverty must deal with on a daily basis, has drawn much comment and criticism about its use of food in the movie. In one scene, Precious steals a bucket of chicken, eats it all, and then vomits it all up into a nearby trashcan. Sidibe has stated publicly that she has long struggled with weight issues and in a recent appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show, she stated that had been dieting since she was six years old.

A 528-pound woman gave birth in Romania to a 6-pound, 4-ounce baby yesterday at a hospital for the obese. 25-year-old Victoria Lacatus gave birth to a healthy baby girl via caesarian section.

Lacatus is the largest known woman to ever give birth in Romania. A spokesperson for the hospital where the delivery took place, Bucharest University Emergency Hospital, stated that Lacatus was transported from the hospital in her village in Southern Romania to Bucharest because the facility did not have a bed to accommodate the woman’s weight. Upon arrival at Bucharest University Emergency Hospital, three teams consisting of ambulance staff and firefighters were needed to carry the woman into the hospital.

Florin Costandache, who helped with the operation, stated that one of the main challenges came about because she needed four times the anesthetic a normal person needs.

Given Lacatus’ weight and problems with her thyroid, she is being heavily monitored for post-surgery complications such as diabetes, bleeding, blood clots and infection.

There is one other case of a heavier woman giving birth to triplets in Britain in 2008, that woman was 560-pound Leanne Salt.

The healthy little baby girl is the first child for Lacatus who is engaged to be married later this year to 36-year-old fiancé, Costica Lacatus.

One of the heaviest women to ever have a baby has just given birth to a healthy 6.4-pound baby. Victoria Lacatus is a 25-year old woman from Romania, and her dream has always been to have a baby. At 528 pounds, she is morbidly obese and is one of the most overweight women known to have given birth.

Lacatus delivered the baby girl by cesarean section, requiring four times the anesthetic a person of average weight needs for the surgery. Lacatus is being closely monitored after the cesarean section because complications from the surgery can develop due to her morbid obesity. She also suffers from a thyroid condition, which further complicated the pregnancy and delivery.

Lacatus gave birth at the Bucharest University Emergency Hospital where she was transferred from her southern Romanian village because her local hospital did not have a bed that supported her weight. At the hospital, she told reporters, “I wanted this child with all my heart, whatever the sacrifice.” At least ten obese women have previously given birth at the Bucharest University Emergency Hospital, but Lacatus is the heaviest maternity patient they have had.

Victoria Lacatus is planning her upcoming marriage to her slim 36 year-old fiancé, Costica Lacatus.

The concept of a Worm diet warning is an interesting one. The Worm diet warning is something that the government of Hong Kong is promoting in order to stop their people from eating worms that some people are considering to be a diet product. The diet products that contain worms are not diet products at all. The level of scientific knowledge out there in the place known as Hong Kong is quite minimal amongst the lower wage earners so people who are saying that eating products with worms is a weight loss concept are exploiting these people.in order to sell their products, it does not matter whether the products are good for people or not.

American journalists seem to be making light out of a bad situation in order to make sure people want to read their stories on the worm diet. They think it is time to ask the American public whether they would be gullible enough to sink their teeth into a worm diet.

The concept is about as sound as having leaches suck the blood out of people in order to get rid of the bad blood. People don’t want to read stories about people getting sick and dieing from a worm diet, they want to turn everything into an episode of Fear Factor.
