Schuyler was the lone survivor of a boating accident that claimed the lives of Cooper, Smith, and Will Bleakley. All four men were former football players at the University of South Florida. All four men were residents of Tampa and the boating accident happened in the Gulf of Mexico.

Schuyler and three others were stranded at sea for nearly two days. The book is set to be released nearly one year to the day that he was discovered. The name of the book is called ‘Not Without Hope’ and was co written with sports writer Jere Longman. Schuyler was a former trainer with the South Florida Bulls and was a best friend of Bleakley. The four friends had gone deep seep fishing in Cooper’s 21 foot boat when waves capsized the boat. The weather worsened and the three others lost their lives. Schuyler had also made an appearance on NBC’s Today Show Thursday morning.

Prior to singing her song, Fantasia sat down with Oprah where she revealed many startling secrets and dramatic moments of her life. Fantasia talked about how she almost lost her home, why she had to leave her recent Broadway musical, and her recent vocal cord surgery. The surgery, which took place recently, removed a potentially dangerous cyst from her throat. Originally, the surgery was thought to be career threatening, but the surgery ended up being a complete success which allowed Fantasia to continue to sing.

According to Fantasia, her financial difficulties were there prior to winning Idol, but continued after she won the popular singing contest. Fantasia that after she won the contest, all she wanted to do was see her family and give them everything she could. She continued to say that this style of life created a monster which nearly caused her personal bankruptcy.

Fantasia, who has a new album coming out this spring, has reported that she has finally taken control of her life and knows how to say no.

Crown Publishers has now officially announced that there will be an unauthorized biography released about Oprah Winfrey. The infamous unauthorized celebrity author, Kitty Kelley has written 544 pages that will be released the second weed of April 2010. The printing will release half a million hard cover books onto the market. A down-loadable ebook, and audio book will also be released alongside the hard-copy versions as well.

Kelley is a well-known celebrity gossip monger, and has become infamous for her tell-all biographies of Nancy Reagan, the Bush family and Frank Sinatra. In order to get the information she needed for Oprah’s book, she researched the celebrity for 3 years, and completed over 800 interviews with individuals that are close to Oprah now, or that have been in the past.

Kitty speaks of Oprah Winfrey with incredible, “admiration,” of what the star has accomplished in her life and of the star’s, “complexity,” as a person, so we have yet to see what the book will contain and whether it will be negative or positive.

The book will be released and promoted heavily by parent company Crown Publishers and you can bet that this is one selection that will not be on Oprah’s Book Club list. The Ron Clark Academy, housed in a renovated red brick warehouse, is located in southwest Atlanta, Georgia, and accommodates fifth through eighth grade students. Students are from low wealth to high wealth families. Clark had planned to build the school for ten years before construction began, according to Wikipedia.

Oprah To Air Final Episode In 2011

Nash, a native of Connecticut told Oprah that she feels almost no pain, but tries not to touch her face.

“I don’t ask a whole lot about my injuries… I know that I have my forehead,” she said. She now drinks her meals “with a straw through a small hole where her mouth used to be,” ABC added.

Nash says she wears the veil “so I don’t scare people. And sometimes other people might insult you.”

The 55 year-old woman was attacked by her friend Sandra Herold’s chimp because it felt protective of its owner and didn’t recognize Charla. However, Charla confesses she is not angry and just wants to forget about the terrible incident.

I don’t even think about it,” Charla told Oprah. “And there’s no time for that anyways because I need to heal, you know, not look backwards. I want to get healthy. I don’t want to wake up with nightmares.”

Nash is currently eating through a straw and continues to get treatment at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Her only hope is a complete face transplant.

Gossip website TMZ reported how the media mogul publicly rebuked R&B star Chris Brown for his domestic dispute with singer Rihanna, but had longtime friend Winans on her show to promote his new CD with sister CeCe Winans.

BeBe & CeCe appeared on ‘Oprah’ on Friday, Oct. 23 and performed a new song called ‘Grace.’ After the performance,  Winfrey announced: “You’ll be seeing more of BeBe in my Karaoke Challenge later this season.”

Winfrey spokesman Don Halcombe says Winans is off the karaoke segment, reports the AP.

Benjamin “BeBe” Winans  is a Grammy Award-winning gospel and R&B singer. He is a member of the noted Winans family, most members of which are also gospel artists.
