Hilton borrowed $60,000 worth of jewelry from Damiani in 2007. She agreed to keep the jewels locked in a safe or vault when she wasn’t wearing them.

Hilton left the jewels on a shelf in the closet of her Los Angeles mansion while she was attending an event. The jewels were stolen along with over 2 million dollars worth of her own jewelery when her home was robbed in December of 2008.

It was reported that the jewels has been recovered after the insurance settlements were paid. Damiani still wants their jewelery back.

Hilton’s representative says that Damiani was given false information and that their jewels were never returned. If the two parties don’t come to an agreement, then they will have to work it out in court.

According to Neil Strauss, a journalist who covers modern culture, Paris Hilton said “I can’t stand black guys. I would never touch one. It’s gross.”

In his new book “Everyone Loves You When You’re Dead: Journeys Into Fame and Madness” Strauss goes into detail about a conversation he had with Paris back in 1999 while he was out partying it up with the hotel heiress.

He claims she told him about an encounter where she was making out with a black guy, but didn’t know it because it was too dark. Once they got into a better light she ditched him because of her attitude towards African Americans.

Spokespersons for Paris Hilton have utterly denied these allegations and are threatening to sue Neil Strauss for libel.

Witnesses said that the Hilton Sisters and their boyfriends partied until 4:00 in the morning on June 12. Paris Hilton was in New York City this week helping the US Military celebrate the USO’s Swinging Salute To Our Troops get together in the Big Apple.

Dressed is a sexy white get up, Hilton talked and greeted with the troops and soldiers and was very popular with the crowd.

While Paris Hilton usually lives up to the motto “Blondes have more fun” it is apparently not true in Brazil. Brazil’s secretariat for Women’s Affairs wants a beer commercial starring Hilton pulled off the air.

The sultry commercial for Devassa beer features a sexy Paris Hilton in a short black dress while rubbing a can of the beer on herself much to the enjoyment of those looking at her through a window.

While Brazil is not usually known for its’ modesty especially when it comes to their tiny bikinis according to regulations they are now saying that in beer commercials woman cannot be treated as overtly sensual objects.

A spokesperson for the secretariat goes on to say that the commercial devalues women, blondes in particular. She also goes on to say that they have already received several complaints in regards to the commercial.

There are several commercials shown in Brazil that feature women in scant bikinis but they claim these are different because they are shown on the beach thus deeming it appropriate.

Eduardo Correia, a spokesperson for the regulator Conar, goes on to say it is not about what Hilton is wearing but the sensual nature of the commercial that is the problem.

Hopkins’ exact quote was this: “You look at fashion magazines and you think, ‘What are we living in?’ You look at the red carpet, Paris Hilton, you know, these people and you think, ‘Is there anything going on up there?’ It’s a mass enslavement and it’s kind of fascism. And it’s the androgyny of it; the androgyny of the human soul. I don’t think people think any more. But maybe I’m just old.”

The 72 year old Hopkins does know something about overcoming enslavement. He became an alcoholic as a child. When his acting carer rose in the UK, so did his drinking and wild ways. On the set of “The Lion in Winter” (1968), the legendary Katherine Hepburn took Hopkins to task for his drinking. According to a spokesperson for the Brazilian’s Secretariat of Women’s Affairs, the ad devalues women and particularly blonde women. While Hilton is wearing a black dress in the TV commercial, internet ads show her wearing lingerie.

In Portuguese, which is Brazil’s national language, the name of the beer, “DeVassa,” means naughty. Because of this, the current advertising campaign seems to make sense. Paris Hilton also seems to be the perfect model for the beer as she has been in similar ads in the past.
