As a short praise to Cheryl Cole, Abdul stated via twitter ” “Wow it’s already June 30th! Happy Birthday to the beautiful & multi-talented Cheryl Cole. I miss your fiery sweetness! (sic)”.

Abdul went on to further add praise to her by saying, “Cheryl Cole – You’re the very stuff of stardom sweetheart – I’m anxiously waiting w/ open eyes& ears to see what you have in store! Love u!” Cole turns 28 on this day of June 30, 2011. She’s planned a private party to go out and celebrate her birthday in style this year.

Paula Abdul Shows Cheryl Cole Some Fiery Sweetness

Abdul, 47, will not only be a judge on the show but also an executive producer and creative partner. She will act as a coach and mentor for the contestants, along with providing some of the choreography for the show. “Got to Dance” is the tentative title for the show and will air mid-season later this year.

Abdul is excited about her latest endeavor and issued a statement. Abdul says, “I’ve spent the better part of my life teaching, mentoring, nurturing – working with so many talented people – and I consider myself truly blessed to be able to continue to do something that I hold so dear to my heart.”

The former “American Idol” judge is supposed to join Simon Cowell on his show “The X-Factor”, but it is not known whether scheduling conflicts will prevent her from appearing on both shows.

This is the last year that Simon Cowell will be on the show as well. That is the big reason why Abdul was willing to come back for the season fine. Cowell and Abdul do work well together professionally and admire each other in that sense. After Idol, Simon Cowell is likely to go back to producing television shows. Some of these shows will appear in the United States while others will appear in the United Kingdom. Cowell and Randy Jackson are likely to have some sort of embrace with Paula Abdul.

Abdul will add a certain flavor to the show, as she has done in the past. This will not take away from the two finalists; Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze. They will be performing on Tuesday’s show offering their final songs in hopes of receiving the needed votes in order to become the Idol winner. Interestingly, the finale is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. to 10:07 p.m. on Wednesday evening – 10:07, now that is an interesting concept! It will be the contestants first time to meet the multi-talented Abdul.

Although a number of people would like to see Abdul replace Cowell on the show next season, that is unlikely. It is reported, however, that Abdul may be one of the judges on his new show, X-Factor.

After leaving the “American Idol” judging panel Abdul has been looking for a new position. She is very interested in the “Star Search” position.

“Star Search” originated in 1983 and seen talent like Beyonce, Sawyer Brown, Justin Timberlake, and Brittany Spears grace its stage. It was a show where young talent could get noticed on TV.

The “Star Search” show featured talent in many categories. There was competition in dance, singing, comedy, and acting that put individuals or groups in head to head competition. If you won you moved on to the next episode to face a new challenger.

The original running was a big hit until 1995 when it was taken off the air. The first remake of the show was hosted by Arsenio Hall and only lasted one season in 2003.

Paula Abdul gained fame being on the “American Idol” judging panel. The “American Idol” TV show has been good to the popularity of it’s cast.

Simon Cowell who is leaving “American Idol” next season stated he would like to work with Paula again.

But who would join the table of judges in replace of the crude and blunt Mr. Cowell?

Apparently Katy Perry would absolutely love to take his place. She was a guest judge on this season, and reports say that she is prepared to give up her singing career for a while, if it meant she could sign a contract with American Idol as a permanent judge. So this would make it three girls, and one guy, the one and only Randy Jackson.

Though I’m sure that the thousand of Katy’s fans would be thrilled to see her every Tuesday and Wednesday night on the show, there are rumors going around saying that Kara wouldn’t be too happy about that replacement.

Supposedly behind the scenes of the show, there were some disputes going on between the two singers.

Though Kara disregarded those rumors, there are still questions on how the two would get along.

Katy Perry To Replace Simon Cowell On American Idol Judge?

Will Smith, Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, Adam Lambert, Paris Hilton and Paula Abdul are just some of the stars who turned out.

The film features footage of Michael Jackson rehearsing what would have been his comeback concerts in London just before his death this summer.

Michael’s brothers Jermaine, Marlon and Tito also walked the red carpet.

“It’s great to be here on the carpet for a premiere, but this is the saddest premiere I’ve ever been to,” Tito said.

Paula Abdul reminisced about choreographing Michael and the Jackson 5 on their Victory Tour in the early ’80s.

“Michael was one of the most dedicated people I’ve ever worked with in my life. There’s no one like him, there will never be anyone like him.”

This Is It opens today and will be in theatres for a two-week run.
