Although originally the expected date of arrival was publicized as being sometime in February, there are now hints that the offspring of Jay-Z and Beyonce may come as early as January 4th.

The famous couple is not making any official comments as to the official date, but hints dropped by both celebrity media and TV personality Ryan Seacrest have lead the public to believe that the due date is very close at hand.

The couple was spotted enjoying a New Year’s Eve dinner at a Brooklyn restaurant, proving the baby has not yet made an appearance.

The only other clue given to the arrival date of the already-famous baby is a quote given by Beyonce on September 23rd that she was six months pregnant.

This would set the nine month mark for the singer right around the end of the year.

She was the first one of his mistresses to go public and expose his infidelity to his wife, which only led to a whole slew of information coming out in 2009.

He ended up having to take a break from his golfing career and later he was divorced from his wife in August of 2010. As for Rachel, she is now married to Matt Hahn and they are expecting a new addition to their family in 2012.

She is currently five months pregnant and has been showing the world her new baby bump.

Rachel and Matt had a small wedding in October 2011 in Las Vegas, during which time she was already pregnant. They are planning to have a much larger wedding once the baby is here. Reports had been speculated for some time, but now Uchitel has actually confirmed them.

Dr. Jennifer Arnold along with her husband Bill Klien, have a bone disorder called skeletal dysplasia which causes dwarfism. They have documented their struggle to become parents on their reality show for the past few seasons. Finally, they decided that it was best to use a surrogate to help them deliver a healthy baby.

Both Bill and Jennifer took the news of the surrogates miscarriage extremely hard.

They allowed themselves plenty of time to mourn, but then decided to put it behind them and move on. Because both carry a single gene for thier dysplasia, it would be possible to pass it on to their child, which could be deadly.

The couple has announced that they will continue on with their journey to become parents through surrogacy or adoption.

The triple threat wore an orange gown to the award’s black carpet, coyly avoiding answering reporter’s questions as to whether or not she was pregnant, although she made of point of framing her baby bump for the cameras. On stage, Beyonce appeared to rub her belly and laugh as Jay-Z , her husband, cheered and laughed in the crowd, along with his friend and collaborator Kanye West.

After the massive speculation over the couple’s decision to have children, fans’ curiosity is finally sated.

Researchers have found that a blood test performed on the mother can reveal the sex of the baby earlier in the pregnancy.

This same blood test can also determine if the infant has a gender-linked genetic disorder.

Health experts have stated that this blood test can spare the mother from many other diagnostic procedures.

This test can be performed as early as seven weeks into the pregnancy.

Dr. Diana Bianchi, who works for the University School of Medicine is worried that this may increase the incidences of women terminating their pregnancy.

Bianchi believes that if the baby is not the desired gender, then the woman will terminate the pregnancy.

The study “has wide-reaching implications,” said Dr. Louise Wilkins-Haug, director for maternal-fetal medicine and reproductive genetics at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, who was not involved in the research. “Individuals need to be careful” to ensure that companies use rigorous laboratory procedures and support accuracy claims with data, she added.

The study was reported in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

New Blood Test Can Reveal the Sex of the Baby

Most everyone would agree that eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia are unhealthy. A new study has found that these same eating disorders are not only associated with unplanned pregnancies and fertility problems, but also to negative attitudes toward pregnancy.

A group of over 11,000 pregnant women from the Avon area of the UK were studied by a team at King’s College London and UCL. The study assessed the impact of these women’s eating disorders on attitudes to fertility and pregnancy. Women with lifetime anorexia and bulimia were compared to the group as a whole. The study revealed that a higher percentage of women with a history of bulimia and anorexia took longer than six months to conceive compared to those of the general population. It also revealed that women with those eating disorders were more than twice as likely to have received treatment to conceive their pregnancy.

As a part of this study, women at 18 weeks gestation with anorexia were more likely to report that their current pregnancy was not planned. Over 41% reported that their pregnancy was unplanned compared to 28.6% of other women. Most of the women also reported feeling happy when they found out they were pregnant; however, negative feelings about being pregnant were linked to eating disorders.

Abigail Easter, Lead Author from the Institute of Psychiatry at King’s College London, stated that this research does indicate that there are risks to fertility associated with eating disorders.

Anorexia and Bulimia Linked to Unplanned Pregnancies

This seems like this should be excellent news. However, it is not all good. Studies are saying that in 2009 a little over four hundred thousand teenagers had babies. This is about thirty seven percent lower than the birth rate of teens was in 1991.

However the United States teen pregnancy rate is still about nine times higher than other nations that are developed. In one aspect this is good news because it means that teenagers are not having sex as much anymore. Also it means that when they do have sex they are using birth control.

Banks explained in a recent interview why she chose the name Felix for the infant.

“Felix means ‘happy’ and ‘lucky’ in Latin. And true to his name, Felix is a very happy baby and a blessing on our life,” the ’30 Rock’ actress explained.

The couple has made repeated attempts to conceive, including fertility treatments. When those attempts to become pregnant failed, the couple sought out a surrogate.

“Our journey led us to gestational surrogacy: we make a ‘baby cake’ and bake it in another woman’s ‘oven,’ said Banks.

The star took a moment to share her joy on her Twitter page with a brief message, before adding that if anyone should need her Banks would “be changing dirty diapers” and attempting to get some sleep.

The singer has announced that she is pregnant with her first child with husband/producer Stephen Belafonte. This is the third child overall for Mel B and will be the second for Belafonte.

The couple is saying that they are very happy about the announcement. ‘We have been waiting four years to have a baby and finally we have it’ said Mel.

It was reported that when Belafonte got the news that his wife was pregnant he opened up a bottle of champaigne and told his wife that she might as well have a celebratory drink now because she won’t be able to to for a while.

The statement reportedly said that Mrs. Obama, 47, is two months pregnant. If the rumors are true, this will be the third child for the Obama family. President and Mrs. Obama have two other children, Sasha, age 12, and Malia, age 9.

While the rumors continue to circulate, there has been no official statement from the White House to confirm or deny the pregnancy speculation.
