When Stephen met Erin, she was wearing a scarf. He later invited her to his room and she tied him up with the scarf. He enjoyed it so much that in that moment he decided he was going to marry her.

Stephen asked her to marry him in Hawaii over Christmas break. There is a rumor that all of Stephen Tyler’s family is not very happy about the engagement.

However, Stephen says that Erin helps him stay clean, and that is very important to him. Stephen has been sober for two years now.

No one has said yet when the wedding will happen. Stephen has however stated that it will be soon.

The lead singer for Areosmith claims his fall was due to food poisoning and not a relapse from drugs and alcohol. He states he became nauseous and dizzy and passed out while in the shower.

Tyler spent 4 hours in a hospital getting stitches and having his two teeth fixed. Drugs and alcohol have been a problem in the past for Tyler, but he assured Matt Lauer the co-host of the Today show that was not the case.

The Areosmith concert was postponed for a day to give Tyler time to recover, the show went on as planned the next day.

They’ve wanted to do a project together for quite some time, but they just haven’t made it happen.

Now with her Dad working on Idol and her back from hiatus, it’s harder than ever to find a time when they can get together. When and if they do complete a song together, we’ll all be anxious to hear it.

In the past, Steven was known best for the band Aerosmith. Steven’s daughter and actress, Liv Tyler, is also a big fan of his and is proud of his popularity on American Idol.

Steven often gives encouraging words to the contestants of American Idol and brings humor and personality to the show. Liv admits that she has not been able to watch every episode but watches it a lot and loves it.

She says she is proud of her father and is happy for him. She also stated that Steven has always been a lot of fun, but she is happy that so many others get to see that side to him now.

Some Idol fans may not have expected this soft, fun side to rocker, Steven Tyler, but Liv says he is truly a sweet guy and has always been funny; the sweet and funny guy is who she has known her whole life.

The band’s last album ”Honkin on Bobo’ was released back in 2004, and it was produced by Jack Douglas. On the Us Billboard 200 chart, the blues-based record reached number five. Since Steven Tyler has become a judge on American Idol, Aerosmith’s sales of their ‘Greatest Hits’ collection have soared by 250 per cent.

People didn’t know what to expect with Steven Tyler but the Aerosmith frontman held his own and being the other male figure this year has made viewers realize that Simon Cowell is no longer on the show.

Where Cowell always seemed to be criticial and sometimes mean spiritied, Tyler seemed to be nursing and encouraging to the aspiring artists and singers.

Steven Tyler Makes Debut As American Idol Judge

Last August, Steven Tyler fell off of a stage which encouraged him to enter rehab in December. Tyler was originally due to be replaced, but the band has opted to continue with Tyler as the lead singer. Tyler jokingly announced that he auditioned and got the gig.

While Tyler was in rehab and recovering from his painkiller addiction, guitarist Joe Perry announced that the bad would hold auditions to replace Tyler.

It now appears that the band has reconciled and their tour will begin in June. Drummer Joy Kramer has stated that all band members have one thing in common which is that they all want to get up on stage and perform and bring joy to their fans.

Having formed and started playing in the 1970’s, this is the fifth decade that the band will play in.

In a letter written to band manager Howard Kaufman, Miller instructs Kaufamn to stop engaging in these acts and “conduct to the harm and detriment of your own client, Aerosmith, and our client who is one of its members.”

Miller insists that Tyler does not want any lawsuits but also says that legal action will be pursued for damages if necessary. He tells Billboard magazine that replacing Tyler would be like replacing Mick Jagger with another lead singer for the Rolling Stones and calls it absurd.

Steven is currently in rehabilitation, receiving treatment for an addiction to painkillers. He underlined his commitment to the band before leaving and dismissed earlier claims of wanting a break to pursue his solo career. Miller only wants Aerosmith’s future direction to be with Steven Tyler touring once again with the band and releasing a new album.

Also, according to Tyler’s attorney, a meeting was claimed to have taken place in January between Kaufman, John Branca, another attorney of Tyler’s, and Tyler’s manager Allen Kovac, which soon turned into an argument over whether or not to keep Tyler in the band. Kaufman stated that he did not think the singer should be a part of Aerosmith anymore, which Miller implied to mean that the band would be better off without him.

Miller is calling another meeting slated for February 9th with Aerosmith’s shareholders to discuss the future of the band, including a tour and a new album release later this year. Miller has also accused Kaufman of putting Tyler’s recovery at risk, especially during a time when Steven has committed to transforming his life so he can continue to become a part of the band he has enjoying performing with for many years.

“I think he needs help, and some attention needs to be applied to his health,” the band’s drummer, Joe Kramer told People.

Guitarist Brad Whitford said that “Tylers behavior was spinning out of control.”

The 61-year old frontman has announced he’s taking a two-year sabbatical away from the band, and that decision plus Steve’s recent health has some of his band-mates concerned.

Tyler who was a known drug and alcohol abuser is in the 70′s and 80′s, said he has been clean for years.

“He’s got some bad influences in his life now, and he’s making some very poor choices.” said Joe Perry..

The band claims Steve’s “erratic and unpredictable” behavior has been negitibly effecting the band with show constellations.

“It wasn’t an overnight change. It’s been progressively getting out of hand,” says guitarist Brad Whitford. “His behavior is spinning out of control. I don’t know where he is or what he’s doing, and we’re all kinda worried about his well-being.”

Although the popular front man has said he will stay with the band things still seem complicated.

Tyler surprised everyone Tuesday night by appearing on stage in New York at a concert by Joe Perry, the Aerosmith guitarist.  After the show, Tyler told the crowd, “I just want New York to know that I’m not leaving Aerosmith.  The breakup – it just ain’t true.”

It seems that discussions between the two musicians brought about a change in Tyler’s plans, although Tyler added, “Joe Perry, you are a man of many colours.  But I, motherf*****, am the rainbow!”

When asked by Rolling Stone magazine about his unplanned appearance at Perry’s show, the guitarist said, “He wants to take two years off from the band.  The rest of the band wants to keep on working. We have so many different options to fill up that time. Anything is possible at this point.”

Obviously, the band doesn’t want to take a break, and though the members are all over the age of 57, they still feel like they have their entire lives ahead of them.  They want to make the most of their musical talents and push on, however Tyler, the oldest band member at 61, doesn’t share their view.

The Band’s future is still a bit cloudy, but for now they remain together.
