On Thursday, the first official trailer for “Twilight Eclipse” was released and much buzz and anticipation. This trailer will be the official trailer that will be released in movie theatres for view by the general public. The film, which is the third in the series, is set to be released on June 30, 2010. The film will strategically opened on this date to allow it to take advantage of the 4th of July weekend.

The trailer runs for a total of 1 minute and 32 second. The trailer, which can be easily found online, features several returning stars. In the trailer fans of the show will see Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner.

Experts have commented that the trailer was very well put together and that it is bound to create a lot of buzz and popularity for the film. Experts believe that the buzz and overall popularity of the film will lead it to earn over $200 million domestically.

“I got beaten up by a lot of people when I was younger,” the hunky heartthrob confided to Parade Magazine. “I liked to behave like an actor, or how I thought an actor was supposed to be, and that apparently provoked a lot of people into hitting me. Pattison, 23, shot to fame playing Edward, the brooding, love stricken vampire in the movie “Twilight,” based on the bestselling novel by Stephanie Meyers.

Now the actor is promoting “Remember Me,” a romantic comedy hitting theaters this Friday. But he thinks his own love life is a bit of a mess. “The only emotional connection of relevance is with my dog,” he told Details Magazine recently. “My relationship with my dog, it’s ridiculous.”

That may come as a bit of a shock to “Twilight” costar Kristen Stewart, “Remember Me” costar Emilie de Ravin, and all the other high profile beauties with whom the actor has been romantically linked.

History with a Twist

Author and potential best seller Seth Graham-Smith was onto a sure fire winner when he decided to cross horror, fiction and history in one epic novel.

‘Abe Lincoln: Vampire Hunter’ apparently is about to blow all other books off the shelf in one clean bite. Released on March 2nd (2010) the book is a cross between historical fact circulating around America’s favorite President Abe Lincoln, Senators drowning in their own blood in the senate and of course the very real fact that Vampires existed in Lincoln’s time – Okay we made the last bit up, but Vampires do play a big part in the book.

Nerds

Apparently Seth Grahame-Smith is hoping that the book will see a few nerds gain special relations with female Vampire genre fans, according to an interview with ‘Vanity Fair’.

The book goes on to involve a lot of real facts surrounding the ill fated president who was eventually shot by John Wilkes Booth as history records. But if we give away the ending then you won’t want to read the book, so we will keep quiet about that for now, it also saves a possible lawsuit!

Bluewater Comics is handling the production of the 32 page publication. Kim Sherman wrote the text for the comic book, and it is being illustrated by Nathaniel Ooten. The biography will include Pattinson’s beginning roles and early life of the actor. His explosion onto the Hollywood heartthrob scene came as a direct result of his role in the Twilight vampire series.

His fans may not realize the young star began in music and theatre in his home country of England. The publishers hope to reveal little known facts even for the most diehard fans.

Pattinson’s edition is scheduled for release in May, 2010. Other celebrities scheduled to appear in comic form include Michelle Obama, Lady GaGa, Taylor Swift and J.K. Rowling. The comic book will sell for just $3.99 in comic bookstores and online.

The movie will focus around Pattionson’s character Georges Duroy who climbs the ladder of success by manipulating some of the most important women in Paris but what really has critics and gossips talking is the possible love scene that will take place between Robert Pattinson and Uma Thurman.

Sources are stating that there will be a number of hot love scenes between Pattinson and Thurman. Pattinson and his new leading lady are reportedly filming several different scenes of their characters in bed together. The scenes are reportedly much different than the innocent love scenes we are used to from Pattinson in the Twilight movies.

While many are excited over the prospect of seeing Pattinson act next to movie veteran Uma Thurman and see what sort of chemistry they have, one has to wonder how it will go over with those die-hard Twilight fans.

The Twilight Saga won Favourite On-Screen Team, Favourite Franchise and the big one, Favourite Movie. The hottest werewolf on the planet, Taylor Lautner, of course, took home Favourite Breakout Movie Actor.

Taylor’s recent ex, Taylor Swift, also won a Choicy for Favourite Female Artist.

Johnny Depp rightfully earned the Favourite Actor of the Decade, though seemed relieved that presenter Sacha Baron Cohen let him off easy.

House and its star, Hugh Laurie, were also big winners.

The Big Bang Theory, Steve Carell, Alyson Hannigan, The Vampire Diaries and Glee were all champs in their TV categories while Sandra Bullock, Hugh Jackman and Taylor Lautner were feted with big screen trophies.

And Mariah Carey seemed a little less tipsy but no less grateful when she picked up her award for Favourite R&B Artist.

The second installment in the “Twilight” franchise brought in $42.5 million over the three day American Thanksgiving long weekend.

The vampire drama has now earned a total of $230.7 million in 10 days.

Coming just behind “New Moon” with $40.1 million in second place this weekend was the Sandra Bullock football drama “The Blind Side” about a wealthy couple who welcome a not so fortunate teenager into their home and help him to fulfill his dream of becoming a football player.

The disaster movie “2012″ held strong in third for the second week in a row adding another $18 for a total of almost $139 million.

The new release starring John Travolta, Robin Williams, Kelly Preston, Seth Green, Ella Bleu Travolta, Lori Loughlin, and Matt Dillon called “Old Dogs” made $16.8 million this weekend.

Finally, rounding out the top five was Disney’s “A Christmas Carol” starring Jim Carrey grossing $16 million, up 30% from last weekend.

New Moon Tops the Box Office Again

In its first three days, the Twilight sequel raked in $140.7 million dollars in North America to bring its worldwide total to $258.8 million.

The North American numbers placed New Moon third all-time behind only The Dark Knight and Spider-Man 3.

Staring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Dakota Fanning, New Moon, however, did set an all-time high for an opening day total with $72.7 million, topping the previous record The Dark Knight set last year with $67.2 million.

A year ago, Twilight exceeded expectations by bringing in $69.6 million in its opening weekend.

Twilight New Moon Sets New Record For Weekend Total

New Moon is the continuation of the love story between girl next door Bella Swan, the vampire Edward Cullen, and the werewolf Jacob Black. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner all reprised their roles for the movie.

The movie opening in Vancouver was especially exciting since New Moon was filmed in the area. Many of the fans decided to dress up as their favorite characters from the books at the movie screenings. During filming, fans were everywhere, doing their best to see the idolized stars of the movie in action.

New Moon has already broken box office records just from ticket pre-sales, and is expected to turn a profit on its premiere weekend.
