Hey man can you tell me where you found the walkthrough to root the rogers dream? I attempted it but almost bricked my phone when it got stuck on the rogers screen… any input would be amazing!

LOL, you’re comparing to Comcast? My US friends are envious of my FibreOP connection.

Ever tried to play World of Warcraft on Comcast? Good luck with that. They give you high burst downloads, but their connections are totally unstable and prone to massive lag bursts in prime time. If that’s the kind of Internet you want, you’re welcome to it.

People actually bought an HTC phone? Frankly, you all deserve what you get. Customers will ALWAYS blame the mobile provider they are with. The first day Wind launched their site was overrun with whiners claiming Wind failed to meet their “expectations.” Canadians want free phones and $10 a month with unlimited everything….it’s not going to happen.

I had thought about getting an HTC phone, but I went with the Blackberry instead. Very happy with the decision, especially in light of these findings.

Its not just cellular service, it’s also Internet, and home phone service we are getting screwed over on, too. When you consider the service provided, or better yet “available”, we are paying mote than DOUBLE, yes DOUBLE for communication service in Canada.
Example:, myself, I have one of the highest bandwidth that is “available” for residential service. It is “rated” at “up to” 25 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload. 69.99 a month, and I have never gotten ant better than 6 Mbps download, and 900 Kbps on uplaod. A good friend in New Jersey, on Comcast, gets, on a daily basis, 16 Mbps download, and 6 Mbps on upload, all for 39.99 a month. Competition?, we have none in Canada. We have 2 dictators, Rogers and Bell.

C’mon WIND mobile, you’ll be the savior of all these people, whether directly or indirectly. We need the competition to take away the sorry manner in which the big three (Bell,Rogers,Telus) treat their customers! With another provider the present group will either smarten up or go away, it’s in there park now!

It should be noted that the set of circumstances that will cause a 911 call to fail is more more elaborate than simply having the GPS turned on. Turning it off, merely prevents the problem.

The GPS is not the cause of the problem in itself. Turning it off is the solution.
