According to reports, a Georgia high school teacher has been arrested and may face charges of making terrorist threats after telling a student that he’d put a “hit” out on him.
Sources says the teacher had been harassing the student, asking him if he was gay.
Randolph Forde, a teacher at Mundy’s Mill High School, remains on administrative leave with pay, schools spokesman Charles White said Monday.

Randolph Forde, a 10th-grade teacher at Mundy’s Mill High School in Clayton County, is accused of trying to persuade another student to kill a 16-year-old boy. Forde was charged after, officers said, he held up a piece of paper with the alleged victim’s name on it saying he had a hit on him. The student’s mother said her son came home frightened when he found out. “He says, ‘Ma, you’re not going to believe this but Mr. Forde offered another student money to kill me,’” said mother Marcia Killebrew. Killebrew told Channel 2 Action News reporter Tom Jones that she was shocked when her 16-year-old son told her his substitute math teacher at Mundy’s Mill High School was trying to hire a hit man to kill him. “I was extremely upset. I called the school at that moment,” said Killebrew.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the teacher will not face a hearing regarding his employment until at least after Thanksgiving- an earlier scheduled hearing was postponed.
“We needed to post notice of the hearing a full 24 hours prior, according to the the (Georgia) Open Meetings Act,” White said late Monday night.
But Terrence Madden, the student’s attorney, said neither he nor his client were informed of the change, and complained that the school district was stalling.
“Nothing has changed as far as evidence,” Madden said. “They had no legitimate reason except that it had gone public.”
Forde’s attorney said the whole incident was blown out of proportion.

Ok lets look at it this way we are suppose to be teaching our childern not killing them, Where do you get off doing something like this, Maybe someone should do the same thing to you and let you see how it feels to be frightened for your life. I seriously believe that as an adult he should have choosen his wording much wiser. But, on the contrary I am certain that the student has either exaggerated to the extreme or misinterpreted the intention. What kind of High School sustitute teacher tells a STUDENT to kill another student?? With all these professional hit mans running around the world, why chose another teen? It is not smart and does not make sense. With the salary a substitute makes, what was he planning to pay…like $57.18. I don not buy it.
Funni what is the world coming too when your teachers are contracting out to have other studende killed … Isn’t ther enough off that already … but when it comes in the one place that your child should feel safe .. wow … an “IDIOT” ruins it … This teacher should not be geeting paid while being on leave … he should be cut off … now isn’t that frightening … well I guess we will see what the school board and the Justice system does with him … One more thing … you made that kid frighten … now if you are found guilty … may you ask god and that child to forgve you … because if you are found guilty … where you will be going … “FEAR” … will be the least off you worries … just remember that … peace
