According to reports, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the alleged Fort Hood shooter is permanently paralyzed.
“He has no sensation from the nipple area down,” Hasan’s civilian attorney, John Galligan, said.
During a closed-door hearing in Hasan’s hospital room on Saturday that lasted about an hour, a magistrate ruled that Hasan be confined until his military trial, the report said.
“In the middle of this hearing, he started to nod off and go to sleep,” Galligan said. “When I’ve spoken with him, he’s coherent, but your ability to have any meaningful exchange with him is limited in time and subject.”
Major Nidal Malik Hasan has been accused in the deaths of 13 fellow unarmed soldiers during a shooting rampage on November 5
A date for his court-martial hasn’t been announced.

Fort Hood Shooter Major Nidal Malik Hasan "Paralyzed"

He is not an alleged shooter…he IS the shooter. Now, he can suffer for the rest of his miserable life…good! A well deserved outcome for someone who is scum of the earth!
Alleged?, this PC crap is really getting on my nerves
Wake up America, this is only the begining ,those people are like turmites they are going to destroy our society.Do not be naive,we know them very well.
Why do we still call him Major, he is not worthly of that before his name. That is suppose to be a honor and a good thing, lets not address him as Major. What a good out come for him. A lesat the rat can’t run.
This PC crap is getting to me too. I’m just sorry our tax dollars is going to have to be spent on a trial and his care.
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.
Greeting and health. Please be advised, in America, one is innocent until proven guilty. Jumping to conclusions, before all the facts are known, leads to error (see 9-11-01; no criminal investigation and no clue as to why so many laws of physics were defied).
Love is the law, love under will.
Robert Liberty
Dont spew your 9-11-2001 conspiracy crap here – save it for You Tube or Facebook, and dont quote bullshit about how love is the way, make peace not war, blah blah.
13 American service personel were murdered by this man. Boys and Girls simply doing what they wanted to do. This man didnt want to go to war and kill, therefore he killed. What sense does that make?
We expect (sadly and it tears at my heart) to lose our soldiers on foriegn soil in a war zone. Not on a military base surrounded by buddies. So DO NOT make this about some nonesense Military / Government conspiracy.
Respect those that died and the families that are right now suffering the loss and having to spend their first Thanksgiving without their loved one.
I am a PROUD ARMY mother.
I agree with you 100% Patti…And who is jumping to conclusions? I believe the Army said he is the one who did the shooting.
I pray for those who have to spend any holiday without their love ones, especially the ones in the Military. I too am a PROUD ARMY MOM.
Bless you and your child who is offering his (her?) service to our country. However, I feel I must correct something here. When Robert Liberty says “Love is the law, love under will” he is quoting a scholar named Aleister Crowley. Believe me, there is nothing PC or love-not-war about Crowley. And love IS the way. Eschew anger and always work and hope for peace.
That said, the deeply ironic thing about what this Hasan did is that, according to my ex-military husband, he was a doctor, and would never have had to shoot at anyone. He would have been rear guard all the way. The thing that irks me is that now we taxpayers have to pony up to pay for this murderer’s expensive lifelong medical care in a time when more and more doctors are making people pay big fees on top of all other medical expenses. (See the article on msnbc.com this morning, Patients Face Bitter Choice: Pay Up Or Lose Care). This man’s family should have to pay for his care, and the money that would have been used should go to more deserving patients.
how much proof do you want, this guy should be hanged by his balls.
AMEN!
He is GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY! Make an example of his kind so hopefully this WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN to those who want to serve OUR COUNTRY!
Oh that is just horrible. The Army needs to pay dearly to this poor poor victim
I do not want to jump to any conclusions because all the facts are in yet. I think it is safe to say the US Army acted stupidly. I have known my brother Hasan for some time now. He was on his own base and has every right to protect himself.
Am I glad he’s paralyzed – No – because now this country will have to pay for his sorry self for the rest of his life!
Patti Klick
I agree with you 100% I could have not said it better. I’m a proud Air Force Wife!
I think we are sick of this politically correctness. This guy is a terrorist. What about the other 15,000 Muslims that infiltrate our Military. Will they check all of them out, especially the 3546 that proclaim to be of the muslim faith? It’s time we wake up!!! He is the SHOOTER, and a TERRORIST and we should treat him as such.
Well at least it will be a military court martial. Justice will be swift and quick, not like the civilian system that drags for 20 years. I am glad he was taken down by an American woman.
Let’s hope it is swift. We all await Justice for this Terrorist.
Looneyleft is the misguided one ! We owe this terrorist nothing. He should be executed without A DOUBT and made an example of. The people that let him fall throught the crack should be bheld accountable also.

Robert Liberty: wake up you liberal fool. The country is being overrun and you spout this 09/11 Michael Moore crap. This guy is the shooter so lets get this straight. I served over 24 years and been over there. When one of your own turns on you it is worse than you can imagine just in your mind because you cannot believe what is happening. It is bad enough these young men and women were preparing to go over and fight. Then this clown officer, who should have been taken out by his superiors because of his attitude, decides to kill them. He deserves nothing from us but ultimate justice. What about the families this guy damaged forever. Think about that holy Robert
Thank God, more people are speaking out about PC. if you’re tall, you’er tall, etc. You can’t be …. hyphen-American. Either your American or you are not. Call a spade a spade. The man is a documented witnessed murderer. Give him 5 minutes to make his peace and hang him.
WTF. You dumbass people who think we owe this “man” something are full of shit. As for the comments to leave the BS to Facebook, etc. – get the fuck off the internet if you don’t like it. Welcome to America asshole. Looney — your name fits you piece of shit. He MURDERED my fellow soldiers. He took mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters from their families! This was a Muslin who had no business carrying any weapon on Post. Bullshit if you think he is a “victim” – I hope they light him up like a freakin’ nuc!!!
My best friend lives right outside this military base and she said she is sick of hearing they should of kicked him out because even if they kicked him out of the military all he had to do was come on base shooting, take out the guards and go do what he did anyways. Her husband was in the military so she is very familiar with Ft Hood and has been on the base several times. I wish he would have died because he deserves it!!!! He should not be allowed to live.
To all those men and woman serving in the military thank you for all you do!!! You put your life on the line everyday to protect us!!!! God Bless all of you!!
This alleged B*S* is really getting to me! Wake up and smell the reality allready. This A** pulled the trigger,…period. It’s a very fitting outcome for someone that has made other families suffer a great loss in their lives. And stop calling him “Major”. Real Americans have been stripped of their military titles for lesser evils than this terrorist pulled.
The only thing that would make it even better is if he and his mosque cronies were all deported back to the land and law they love so much.
when the court martial is finished and verdict is GUILTY. Punishment sentence, LOAD HIM IN THE BOMB BAY OF A B-52, FLY OVER AFGANISTAN AND DROP HIM LIKE A BOMB.
for you people out there still calling this killer a major,i think you would think diffrently if it was one of your kids that he shot and killed. wake up.
Almost a Beautiful ending…..be better if he was shot by firing squad!!!!!
Unfortunately, he will now get the best care in a military hospital for the rest of his life. Taking the attention away from soldiers and sailors who rightfully deserve it. Some system we have!
Sounds like he won’t enjoy the 40 virgins he was promised
My son is in the Army stationed at Fort Hood, and he wasn’t very far away from where the shootings occurred. I was scared out of my mind for him and his friends. This person, if he even qualifies to be a member of the human race, should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. But I would actually much rather see him dumped out in the desert somewhere to fend for himself! But that doesn’t make me a very good human being either.
Being a Mother I understand why you feel that way. It is the human part of us. The Bible says and eye for an eye, right? Hopefully he will get the death penalty.
After serving 2 tours in Iraq it really saddens me what has transpired at Fort Hood, Texas. What really gets me is how it seems the government is trying to pass the buck, about this soldier (Hasan) being a terrorist, looking through his emails, records etc. If the red flags were seen that this guy obviously was flying high, there would be no memorials, funerals, or saddened loved ones, friends and family. This guy should have been removed out of his position the day that he proclaimed anger toward being deployed, I really don’t think that new recruits really think about the words of that oath when they raise that right hand and swear or affirm. You are to pleging to defend the United States against enemies foreign and domestic, if there should ever be questions of doubt in your mind about that and who the people are that one day you may have to kill in order to survive, then the US Armed services is not for you. I believe that when (Hasan)
was angry, it was because he did not want the guilt of
going to the middle east and possibly killing his relatives or people of the same faith as his, This is why this man should not have been listening to horrifying war stories told by soldiers, he should not have been in the mental health field, because he was mentally ill himself, and like i said if you feel anger
and anguish when being told to deploy to the combat zone you should not have joined in the first place. Many people have died in war, I had two uncles killed in Vietnam, and a dad that was shot eight times in World War II and lived to retire from the Army in 1964 after 23 years of service. What ever the law’s decision is for (Hasan) I pray that God has mercy on his soul for the slain soldiers, their families, friends, and loved ones. My prayers are with you in this pivotal time of history. Yes he indeed was the shooter, but in actuality, The U.S. Army should have caught this way before it got out of hand.
God Bless Us All!
