Deer Creek School Shooter $1 Million Bail – Teens Recovering (VIDEO)


Jefferson County, Colorado – Tuesday, 23rd February 2010 a drifter walks into Deer Creek Middle School, and randomly starts shooting at student. He injured two school children, but was tackled to the ground by a hero teacher who averted a bigger tragedy.

$1M Bail

The alleged gunman, Bruco “Bo” Strong Eagle Eastwood (32), who was arrested at the scene, appeared on CCTV from Jail in a Jefferson County Court Wednesday morning. Bail has been set at $1 million.

Authorities are trying to piece together exactly what happened in the lead up to, and during the shooting. They are also trying to figure out exactly what motivated Eastwood to start his shooting spree.

Eastwood’s father however has claimed that his son Bruco has been troubled recently. Mr. Eastwood Senior stating that he has witnessed his son speaking to imaginary friends, and had to physically shake Eastwood to get his attention.

Recovering

The two teenagers injured in the attack are recovering from their wounds, although Matthew Thieu (14) is still at an Aurora Children’s Hospital. He is said to be now in a good condition after sustaining lung and rib injuries in the shooting.

Young Miss. Reagan Weber (13), who suffered injuries to her right arm is now at home, and is also recovering well.

The investigation continues.
