Dick Cheney Feeling Better After Heart Scare


Former Vice President Dick Cheney is feeling better according to his daughter Liz Cheney.

The former Vice President was hospitalized when his recurrent heart problems flared up again. More news from Liz is that her dad will probably be going home on Monday.

Liz Cheney, the former Vice President’s daughter spoke to Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday. She said, “I’m sure he’ll deal with this situation the way he’s dealt with everyone in the past which is to work with his doctors.”

The former Vice President was admitted to George Washington University Hospital due to “progressive retention of fluid related to his coronary artery disease.” This report was made by his office when we was admitted to the hospital on Friday, June 25.

More news coming in from the hospital is that Cheney has been given intravenous medication and that his condition is considerably better than when he was admitted on Friday.

He is 69 years old and has had five previous heart attacks, the last in February of 2010.

The 69-year-old has had five heart attacks, the most recent in February. This most recent short stay in the hospital was just one in a series of hospital visits that the former Vice President has had since his heart trouble first began.
