Black Friday is all about getting the best deals, which sometimes leads merchants to offer freebies in order get more foot traffic in their stores. With the single biggest shopping day of the year for brick & mortar retailers just 48 hours away, here are some of the best freebies which retailers are using to lure more customers:

Half Price Books – their doors will open at 7:00AM and 99 of the first 100 customers will get a free tote bag and a $5 gift card. The remaining lucky customer will find a $100 gift card in their bag.
Shoe Carnival – 99 of the first 100 customers will receive a “Holiday Surprise Reward Cards” worth $10. The other lucky customer will receive a $100 gift card.
Ashley Furniture Store – For the four day period from Black Friday to Monday, the first 25 customers will receive a $50 gift card. Let’s hope that’s a credit card gift card as $50 won’t buy much at any furniture store.
Sport’s Authority and Cabela’s are not offering freebies in quite the same fashion. Rather, they will give the first block of customers a chance to win great merchandise for free.
