Police in Annapolis, Maryland are celebrating today after catching two suspects who held up a woman and her boyfriend around 4:30am on Sunday. What makes this story really newsworthy is that the woman they held up was actually in labor and on her way to the hospital.

Police say they received a 911 call from a person stating that two people were being held up. When police arrived on the scene, they found the woman in labor. The suspects had already stolen the couple's car and fled. When the victims pointed the police in the direction of the suspects, they were taken to the hospital. According to the Baltimore Sun, there is no word on the woman's condition.

Police went in the direction that the victims gave them and they spotted the stolen car. They began to pursue the vehicle, until finally, the suspects ditched the vehicle and fled on foot. After a foot chase, police had Cornell Robinson, 44, of Washington D.C. And Devery Kelley, 24, o f Annapolis, Maryland in custody.

After going back over the suspects route of escape, the gun used in the robbery was recovered. Apparently, the suspects threw it out of the vehicle during the pursuit. Both of the suspects are being held at the Annapolis Police Department. Charges are currently pending.
