Duchess of Cambridge Experiences a Marilyn Monroe Moment
The chilly and breezy air began to lift up her £200 skirt requiring the duchess to bend forward and attempt to hold the skirt to her thighs, reports the Daily Mail.
The lovely navy-blue skirt with matching jacket was most likely insufficient to keep her warm against the nippy weather and a draft to her lower body certainly didn’t help matters.
At least there was one silver lining to the wardrobe malfunction and that was the Duchess already needed to lean forward anyway as she greeted a young school girl by the name of Tierney Potter. This allowed the Duchess to stage a nice recovery by making the skirt holding motion look as if it was concomitant to greeting little Ms. Potter.
As for her clothing, the jacket was made by MaxMara and the skirt by Orla Kiely. The Duchess sported a half-up half-down hairdo which looked absolutely adorable and allowed her to highlight her Annoushka pearl earrings. The Annoushka Ducas line of jewelry is exclusively a luxury line.
Last week the Douches made headlines when she was photographed twirling her hair during a remembrance day ceremony.
