Kelly Clarkson proved to be the "life of the party" at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards this past Sunday.

A photograph Ellen DeGeneres and her partner Portia de Rossi featured an exuberant Clarkson in the background inserting herself into the photograph. The picture certainly captured Clarkson having fun.

Her youthful spirit was evident during her acceptance speech. Clarkson won the award for Best Pop Vocal Performance for her album "Stronger".

On her way to accept the award, Clarkson reportedly was hugging everyone including Miranda Lambert - a show of affection that ended up creating a dress snafu.

Clarkson brushed it off playfully during her speech, saying, "I got stuck to Miranda Lambert, there's a story in a song, for later, after alcohol." She also gave a shout out to Fun. and Miguel, who performed his single "Adorn" during the ceremony.

Clarkson went on to say that while Miguel was virtually unknown to her, his performance was the "sexiest damn thing” she's ever heard and she wants to collaborate with him soon.

"Miguel, I don't know who the hell you are, but we need to sing together," Clarkson said. "That was the sexiest damn thing I've ever seen."

Her subsequent tribute to both Patti Page and Carole King was best described by actor and Clarkson fan Neil Patrick Harris who tweeted: "Kelly Clarkson has one of the best voices in the history of ever."
