Lane Brolin Eight Year Marriage Goes Bust

A spokesman for celebrity couple Josh Brolin and Diane Lane have confirmed that after more than 8 years of marriage, the couple has decided to divorce.

Brolin, step-son of singer Barbra Streisand and actor James Brolin, and actress Lane have no children together, although Brolin has two children from previous relationships and Lane has one daughter.

The divorce will be the second for each of the actors, who were introduced to each other by singer Streisand in 2004.

The couple's relationship has been plagued by domestic disturbance calls to police in the past, and over the holidays Josh Brolin was arrested for drunk driving, although it is not know if the couple was already separated by that time. No reason was given for the split other than the admission that divorcing was a mutual decision and that their parting has been termed amicable.

Brolin's latest film appearance was "Gangster Squad" and Lane has appeared recently in several ads for cosmetic products.
