Oscar Losers are Winners Too!
Everyone's a winner at the Oscars. Even nominees who don't win the fancy golden trophies will take home swag bags valued at more than $45,000. Distinctive Assets, Inc. is the marketing firm in charge of delivering the goody bags to the unfortunate nominees that did not win in their major Oscar award categories.
The company appreciates having an opportunity to contact Hollywood's major players directly, and hopes the consolation prize packages serve as a distraction from not winning a famous Oscar award. The prize packages will be delivered Monday morning, after the Oscars, either to the stars' management or directly to the nominees. Host Seth McFarlane will also receive a similar gift bag. Performers and presenters at the Oscars will be receiving thank you gifts on site, managed by Distinctive Assets, as well.
The bags contain consolation prizes such as a water filtration system worth $795, a custom candle package at $204, a diet system valued at $412, assorted condoms, a $12,000 trip to Australia, a $3,000 trip to St. Regis Punta Mita Resort in Mexico, circus lessons for their children valued at $400, acupuncture treatments worth $600, a $5,000 face lift procedure, an assortment of Windex products, a one-year membership to the private VIP service at Heathrow Airport valued at $1,800, and a package of 10 personal training sessions worth $850.
