Reality TV Actress Jennifer Farley, known to millions as the "Jersey Shore" personality JWoww, will now have a recurring role on the long running soap opera "One Life to Live".

It should be noted that the show "One Life to Live" is no longer on the air as a TV series. The show officially went off the air in January of 2012. However, the show continues to air as a web series which is produced by Prospect Park - both Hulu and iTunes air the daily 30 minute episodes.

That said, an acting role is an acting role.

Given the rising prominence of Prospect Park or "The Online Network (TOLN)", as it is formally known, in promoting the financial viability of "internet channels", JWowws new TV role could be viewed as a pioneering effort in a historic alternative to traditional TV and cable network programming.

JWoww's character will be that of a bartender named Nikki whose personality closely mirrors her "Jersey Shore" persona. Fellow cast member Josh Kelly is giving JWoww some much needed acting lessons as working on a soap opera is quite different from a reality TV show. JWoww also became the godmother to Snooki's son a week ago.
