Breaking Bad, the beloved AMC show about everyones favorite lung cancer diagnosed, chemistry teacher, turned crystal meth super chef/kingpin is coming to an end.

Now don't go completely bananas and walk into a convenient store stark naked, or spark up some crystal in front of a cop as an homage to Walt and Jesse or something, but if you must, well then "you better call Saul".

That's right, just as Mr White's tale is coming to a close, Saul Goodman's has yet to begin. It was recently announced that fan favorite Bob Odenkirk will be headlining his own "Breaking Bad" spinoff series"Better call Saul".

The network confirmed the news Thursday saying:

AMC and Sony Pictures Television confirmed today that they have reached a licensing agreement for a spinoff of Vince Gilligan’s landmark AMC/SPT series Breaking Bad. As conceived, the new series is based on the show’s popular Saul Goodman character with the working title Better Call Saul. Plans call for Saul to be a one-hour prequel that will focus on the evolution of the popular Saul Goodman character before he ever became Walter White’s lawyer.

This series will be a prequel to the show "Breaking Bad", and will focus on how the character of Saul Goodman, came to be well... how he is. "Breaking Bad" Show runner Vince Gilligan, and Saul Goodman co-creator Peter Gould (apparent "BCS" show runner), came up with this lovely, fan appeasing idea of a series. There is no set date for this (already) much anticipated series to go on the air, but should still come as a very welcome story to the many, many "Breaking Bad" fans dreading the upcoming series finale.

Don’t miss an all-new episode of Breaking Bad this Sunday at 9/8c on AMC.
