[/caption]In Texas, it is a well known fact that the famed Alamo Drafthouse movie chain makes no bones about their strict "no cell phone" policy.
They have been known to eject offending patrons without warning, and have even issued lifetime bans for chronic offenders. Madonna failed to receive that message, as she has now been banned from re-entering any of their several locations.
The incident occurred when she attended a special screening of "12 Years A Slave," the long awaited drama starring famed actor, Steve McQueen. Several people identified Madonna as "that mysterious blonde in the back row who keeps texting on her cell phone." When a fellow movie goer politely asked The Material Girl to put her cell phone away, she hissed back that she needed it for business, called the woman an "enslayer," and returned to her texting.
At the urging of many spectators, the CEO of Alamo Drafthouse, Tim League, announced that Madonna would no longer be welcomed at the movie chain until she issued a public apology to those she offended during her public tantrum. No word yet from Madonna's publicists on whether she plans on making amends or apologizing at all.
