Actress Julianne Hough most likely won for the craziest bad taste costume when she blackened her face in order to attend a party as the character "Crazy Eyes" from the TV hit "Orange is the New Black." Hough apologized for the blackface controversy, saying, "I am a huge fan of the show Orange Is the New black, actress Uzo Aduba, and the character she has created. It certainly was never my intention to be disrespectful or demeaning to anyone in any way. I realize my costume hurt and offended people and I truly apologize."

Other crazy outfits include Kelly Osborne and fiancé complementing each other as bacon and eggs and model Heidi Klum transforming herself into an elderly woman. She has previously dressed as Eve's Apple and the snake. New mom Kim Kardashian looked fetching as a sultry mermaid.

Other crazy costumes donned by Hollywood celebrities to get into the Halloween spirit include Chris Brown's portrayal of a Taliban fighter, complete with a shoulder holster filled with bullets; former Playboy playmate Jenny McCarthy as a saucy and sexy French maid; singer Katy Perry changing sexes by dressing as her musical idol, Freddie Mercury; Gwen Stefani wearing an uninspired costume meant to make her look like a hardboiled egg; singer Britney Spears as a pink tiger complete with winding tail; and Tori Spelling as a Superhero covered in peacock feathers.
