Emilia Clarke Cast as Sara Conner in Terminator Reboot

If all goes well, the reboot of the Terminator film set for release in July of 2015 will be the summer box office smash. It was nearly 30-years ago that the original film was released back in 1984. That film launched the career of Arnold Schwarzenegger and went on to gross nearly $80 million on a small budget of $6.4 million. However, it was the sequel seven years later that grossed a half-billion dollars and made Schwarzenegger a household name.
Now, the aged star has been cast as the cyborg for the reboot. It has now been announced that the lovely Emilia Clarke of "Game of Thrones" will do the honors as Sara Conner. The original Conner was played by actress Linda Hamilton. Clarke will have some very big shoes to fill. Hamilton was able to transform herself into a warrior woman both in body and spirit for the role. It will be a real test of Clarke to see how she is able to carry the lead character role.
For Schwarzenegger's part, he's aged quite a bit in the past 30 years. While he has been getting back into shape with each successive film after the leaving the California Governor's office, he is nowhere near the physical presence he was back in 1984 & 1991.
