Sharon Osbourne is a cancer survivor and knows what it is to come up close with her mortality. For this reason, she has contributed to $10,000 pounds ($18,000 USD) to a special fund to help a dying man buy a home for his soon-to-be widowed wife and two children. The man is Felix Glenny, a 23-year-old man who was suffering from what he thought were abdominal cramps on November 11. After going to the hospital for tests, doctors discovered that he had an advanced stage of cancer that only affords him weeks to live.

A friend of Glenny's by the name of Ashley Clark sprang into action and started a fund-raising drive to pool together money for a home for the Glenny family. The were able to raise about $73,000 USD. When Osbourne got news of the story, she had her publicist reach out to the family to get information for a donation. Osbourne sent a message of encouragement to Felix to never give up hope. As for his Cola Glenny, his wife, she expressed relief at the kindness people have shown her and comfort over the certainty that she'll have a place of her own to raise the children after her husband passes away.
