Last night's draw created a pair of winning tickets. A ticket sold in Toronto shares the second prize pool with a ticket sold in Western Canada. This ticket is worth $231,065.90. Also a winning ENCORE ticket worth $100,000 was sold in the Owen Sound region.

The second LOTTO MAX draw of the New Year will have Ontario lottery players smiling. The draw on Friday, January 10, 2014 will offer an estimated $50 million jackpot plus an estimated 2 MAXMILLIONS prizes of $1 million each.

With Lotto Max, any amount over the $50 million jackpot is divided into $1 million prizes called Maxmillions. For each Maxmillions, an additional selection of 7 numbers between 1 and 49 is drawn. These selections are not decomposable and prizes may be shared by winners.

Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario LOTTO MAX players have won over $1.9 billion in prizes, including 31 jackpot wins and 172 winning MAXMILLIONS tickets from all across the province.

For each $5 play, LOTTO MAX players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to forty-nine. Players must match all seven numbers, in any one set, to win the jackpot and the MAXMILLIONS prizes.

Players can purchase tickets at authorized OLG retailers until 9 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2013 for the draw that evening.
